  • Honesty is not a Clinton virtue

Sorry to burst your myth, but you should know by now that "honesty" is not something the Clintons can claim. Bosnia, NAFTA, BAFTA, IRELAND...and the list goes on and on.

She's off of her meds again. Don't push her over the edge, otherwise we will have to call in a watch for her.

By the way the paper she was talking to is owned by none other than Richard Mellon Scaife. Yes, THAT, Scaife.

    I guess all is forgiven?

No. She joined the vast right wing conspiracy. She is now part of it and shilling for McCain. Read about "The Family" by Barbara Ehrenreich

That is why her book was translated into a play and center staged in cities around the country. The depths that some people sink to.

Make no mistake about it. They are McCain supporters who support Hillary, who supports McCain.

One of them made a claim being in the civil rights movement. I did see her hold the hose for Bull Connor.

Demonizing Barbara Ehrenreich is another low.

These Clinton shills keep changing their bios. One of them worked in the civil rights movement (holding Bull Connor's hose), one experienced Katrina first hand - horror of horrors as a white person, their stories keep changing to make the same stale arguments about race. You know who they are. McCain supporters working for Hillary, Working for McCain.

I am glad to hear that. But the Dems really need to stop the Hillary madness now, before she destroys the party. I hear they want to convene a mini convention to do just that. But that is not soon enough.

Girl, you are angry as many of us. But you need to know that there are many white folk in this forum who are Obama supporters, i.e. flowers, tom payne, uncle fester, hutman, sugarman, and KcM and many others (sorry if I don't mention your names, but I am drawing a blank).

Just wanted you to know that not all white folk hate black folk. I know that.

Maybe she can be part of a McCain/Clinton "dream ticket"

I said it first. Hutman, you cannot steal my prognostication. Uncle Fester already has recorded that in my book of Oracles.

Let's be very honest. Obama is no leftist. He is not.

That will keep ringing in your tin ear because Falwell and Robertson said the same thing over and over again after 9/11. Oh. But they are white pastors and they can say that.

Falwell the toad is dead. McCain now has Hagee and Robertson which will cancel out Wright in the general election. Go Obama.

You got a point there. See the double standards we have to deal with? But fear not. The christian right hates McCain. They will sit out the elections anyway. Right of center Dems will vote for McCain. All others will vote for Obama. Viva Obama. Howz dem apples?

  • Hillary has adopted the Tonya Harding option

She can win if she breaks Obama's knee. Hillary will stop at nothing in her demonic lust for power.

Do I want another president in the White House suffering from memory problems? Folks, she has been lying up until last week. So her best defense is to go after Obama and try to break his knees. Bill Clinton is the one trying to whack his knees so Hillary can skate to victory. This is beyond evil.

Neither Margaret Thatcher nor Indira Gandhi do squat for women's issues while in office. Nor did Benazir Bhutto or Bandernaika. Not only did they not address the inequities of gender, but they capitalized on their dynastic entitlements and hoarded millions in Swiss Bank accounts. I am not inlcuding Thatcher in dynasty and Swiss Bank equations. Hillary also is capitalizing on dynastic rule and has made oodles of money post White House.

Women are voting for her, because she represents how far women have come. I don't think we have came far enough if a vote for Hillary validates our feminism. Marian Edelman and her former colleagues have distanced themselves from her. They know what caliber of person she is. Look up Obama's endorsements and you will find many prominent feminist names there. Of course, there is a poster here who already tried to ridicule and demonize these "fringe" people. But you get my drift.

"And to Madam Fauntleroy [sp?] - you keep at it and know that there are lurkers [and sometime posters] who are supporting you. Some of the folks on this thread are clearly trying to provoke and not actually engage in true dialog."

Thank you for your kind words. Bigotry is alive and well in America. Even on the pages of Salon.

  • Hillary is toast

[Read the article: The GOP attack plan for Hillary Clinton]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I agree with parts of this article. Hillary has a huge negative poll riding her tail. She will never be president of the United States. Not only will she lose to McCain, but huge blocks of people who support Obama will either sit out the GE or vote for a third party. Hillary has so alienated Democrats that even those who voted for her, now have buyer's remorse. This is anecdotal, but all my friends and colleagues who voted for her, now regret that they did so, bar none.

Reason: Dirty campaign tactics, Lying about her experience, McCain overtures, Iraq war, win at any cost tactics.

live with it. That litany sure confirms your paranoi. Why would I want respect from you? So many preposterous assumptions on your part, and so little of any meaningful discourse that anyone has with you.
