Nuance
[Read the article: Rev. Jeremiah Wright isn't the problem]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Please everyone. Drop this "nuance" word, once and for all. It is so overused and fxxxing meaningless, the same way that "at the end of the day" catchphrase is to begin a sentence.
OK. Now that I am done with that, ill treatment of women in whatever country and by whatever religion is a violation of human rights. Do men in this country consult their preachers before beating up their women? If they are preached time and again that women are property, which was an acceptable concept right through the late 20th century, yes. They could beat up their wives and children because after all, they were property. Not until recently, the courts kept away from matters of domestic violence, because what happened in the privacy of families was not the business of the law, even when many women landed up in ICUs with death threatening emergencies.
This whole approach of we are better than you at how we treat or mistreat our women, is like saying my daddy is bigger than your daddy. Can you, at least confirm that you have the same amount of rage when a woman is mistreated in our so-called liberated society?
It is ridiculous to condone such practices in other countries like Saudi Arabia which is at the forefront of such atrocious Wahabi practices against women. But Saudi Arabia is a huge ally of the US that has stayed out of addressing violations of human rights. Instead, this country has armed them to the gills to stamp out any dissent.
If you are not outraged by similar practices within your own environment, it is hard to preach to the unconverted.

Hillary has lied throughout about her experience.
[Read the article: "It is possible ... that she misspoke"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, who has been accused in recent days of padding her foreign policy resume while First Lady, admitted today that she may have exaggerated about an encounter she said she had with al-Qaeda terror mastermind Osama bin Laden in 1998.
In an appearance on NBC's Meet the Press on Sunday, Sen. Clinton told host Tim Russert, "I wrestled bin Laden in his cave in 1998 and had him pinned to the ground before the bastard got away."
But a review of Sen. Clinton's official White House schedule from that period revealed that the then-First Lady was nowhere in the vicinity of Mr. bin Laden on that day, but was instead greeting a group of honor roll students at Disney World in Orlando.
"I may have misspoke about what went on that particular day," Sen. Clinton said today. "But it was a very busy time for me, what with having that knife-fight with Kim Jong-Il and all."
Reporters peppered Sen. Clinton's new press spokesman with questions about another purported exploit of hers, in which the senator claimed that she and a ragtag team of blue-collar drillers deflected an asteroid on a collision course with the Earth.
"Everything Hillary Clinton says is true," said her new spokesman, the author James Frey.

We are Seeing the Birth of the Second Joe Lieberman. Speaks out on Wright to deflect the wrongs she perpetrates
[Read the article: Clinton: Wright "would not have been my pastor"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]How disingenious of Salon to use this byline especially when Hillary has been exposed as such a dirty liar on her experience and in her campaign. Why go back to Wright when Barack gave a superb speech on race and the pastor. Why not investigate Hillary's ties to "The Family." Get some journalistic balls Salon, and go after that story. Barbara Ehrenreich did just that. But oh. Isn't Salon the right arm of FOX news?

[Read the article: Clinton: Wright "would not have been my pastor"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]My sentiments exactly. She is destroying the Democratic Party and the fxxking Democrats are letting her do just that. Salon is enabling this twit to keep spewing her bile. I will never vote for hillary. Not in a billion years. I will vote for Cynthis McKinney running from the Green Party. I am close to never, ever vote for any Democrat in any elections. Maybe this is the time a viable third party will gain momentum. But I will never vote for McCain or this shameless twit.

Choices and Judgement Part II
[Read the article: Clinton: Wright "would not have been my pastor"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]She chose to elevate and praise McCain.
She chose to invade Iraq that has left 4000 of our best, dead. She chose to try to destroy Obama while singing the praises of McCain
She chose to demonize her husband's many mistresses
Please keep adding

[Read the article: Moving beyond Obama and race]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]You have been extraordinarily quiet lately, especially silent on the grave matters concerning lies perpetrated by your candidate. I am afraid that now you will ramp up the volume of Wright, since your candidate, in order to deflect from her own sorry distortions, is now set to reopen something that has already been addressed by the superb speech Obama gave on race.
But oops. I forget. You did find the speech horrifying with the inclusion of one word, "typical."
