ljwalker53 back to your hate which you do have enough of
[Read the article: Some free advice for Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I quote, "That you cannot tells me more about Sen. Obama and what an Obama presidency might look like. It isn't reassuring."
Is that loaded with coded otherness of Obama and his ilk. Yes Ms Walker, if you folks would only let Barack Obama win the nomination by not engaging in dirty politics, then you will have to deal with people like us who you are so afraid of. We who are poor, we who are discriminated against, we cannot share in the American dream because people like you will not let us into the kingdom. But not all white people are like that at all. Only some who think they are entitled to. Obama's presidency will look great. It will finally embrace all people, black and white, rich and poor, male and female, immigrants, urban and rural, college educated and not college educated. That should scare the crap out of you, assuredly.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]You don't have to patronize KcM just to get back at me. Where I come from, that is called triangulation, a much touted Clinton tactic. You portray yourself as a good debater, but all I have seen is genteel hate against Obama and Obama supporters.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]No game KcM. Only calling hypocrisy where I see it.
25% Hillary supporters will not vote for Obama. They will go with McCain instead. That's why Miss Walker will not answer that question posed to her about Clinton and McCain.
10% of Obama supporters will not vote for Clinton. Whose supporters are more Democrats? You do the math.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]I quote jlwalker, "One of the problems I have with Obama and his followers is that there often seems to be an abundance of excuses and justifications for his behavior and words. Clinton seems to be held to "Clinton rules", while Obama is allowed to slide under the radar. In old-fashioned parlance, that's a "double standard."
Ah Miss Walker. You display your coded contempt again. Should we call you a Clinton follower? Wear it, and see how it fits. You are a follower Miss Walker. A Clinton follower. You still have not answered in your own words why as a Democrat you let Hillary Clinton's remark about McCain over Obama "slide under the radar" in your own words. Let's even the playing field and dispose with your platitudes.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]C. Hillary Clinton and her "followers" are also waitin' to pull out a white baby out of Barack Obama's closet. That will knock Barack right out of the race (no pun intended) and Hillary Clinton and John McCain will walk into the sunset, hand in hand, and live happliy ever after.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]But ain't it not experience that got us into the war in the first place? So by your logic Hillary Clinton is less exprienced than John McCain, so why don't we Democrats just fold up our tents, go on home and give it up for John McCain. Did Bill Clinton have any foreign policy experience when he became President? Not. He also ran on hope and change. Voila. What's good for the goose is not good for the gander?
What foreign experience does Hillary Clinton have? She went to China and spoke at a women's conference. But let me ask you this. Are you for or against the war in Iraq, or in Iran. If you are not, then did experienced people do us any favors in going into Iran in the first place? If you are for the war in Iraq and Iran, then by all means, vote for experience over judgement, hope and change. And if you are a Democrat, are you offended by Hillary Clinton dissing a member of her own party?

[Read more letters about this article: Here]You are right. Hillary Clinton appeals to the Reagan Democrats because she did distance herself from progressive/left of center politics. Barack Obama appeals to the young and also to the disenfranchised, most of whom are Democrats who generally don't vote. You got it wrong here about Clinton having that vote. Her votes are coming mostly from white middle class women with college degrees. He also appeals to the independents who are tired of Bush lies and GOP scandals. Remember that the same people who impeached Bill Clinton, got caught with their pants down. So much for hypocrisy.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]One more thing. Hillary Clinton, for better or for worse is much hated by the right wing of the GOP. They will leave no stone unturned in hounding her just like they did for 8 years in the 1990s.
Now, she has alienated the left wing of her own party. She is now viewed as someone who will stop at anything in her lust for power. In most people's minds, she has crossed that line and should she wrangle the nomination away from Barack Obama through fair means or foul, she will lose the votes of the young and all the people who have been motivated to come out and vote in the primaries. She won some short term battles by going negatively ballistic, but she has lost credibility and will never be able to run on accountability and justice in government.
Barack Obama does have experience. Maybe he did not practice corporate law like Hillary Clinton for 35 years or less and was not married to a President to garner 8 years of whatever White House experience Hillary Clinton is touting. IF spousal experience in the White House matters then we should hand the Presidency over to Laura Bush post haste. She also has 8 years in the White House and her husband did answer that 3am phone call to send our troops into Iraq under a false premise.
He is human like the rest of us and has his downsides. But he does not have the Hillary Clinton baggage of Whitewater, Bill Clinton's philandering throughout their marriage, his impeachment, his foreign policy blunders, and now his and hers complete estrangement from the African American community.
