It's Easy When. . .

It's easy to feel spirited when you're a narcissistic sociopath and nobody is telling you "NO".

Original article: Which Democrat is a winner?

Get A Grip Democrats

Electabilty is downright goofy as we are hearing it. Take the test. Who stands for (and has voted and spoken for) your values? I'm surprised if it isn't Dennis Kucinich. We must elect the person we want to represent us, not the worst of evils. It's time to get our collective heads around this and do it. We are responsible for electing our representatives and they represent us accordingly. That's why we have . . . BUSH. We must do the right thing when we vote (even more important in this case in the primary). Until we put our money where our mouths are we will be represented by the crooks who are representing us.

Talk Heads

Sorry, all this blah blah blah from a white woman about a black preacher is so out of touch. There's a huge cultural divide here and she really doesn't get it. Bombing civilians anyplace is as horrific as 9/11 and there is a comparison. Best stick to your strength - white women's issues, because here your ignorance is no help.

Original article: Brain scam

He's probably a quack, so PBS should disclose

If in fact Dr. Amen is a quack, then I would like PBS to at least tell me that 9X% of the medical community considers him to be so. However, the fact that he is on Quackwatch proves little. The medical field is very proprietary and self righteous with its medical understanding (and lack thereof). Dr. Weil is on Quackwatch for goodness sake. So what is at stake here is people spending good money on an unlikely cure. The cost of the medically-approved treatment for Alzheimers is tremendous, and it doesn't help much at all, as the good Dr. Burton noted. I'm not convinced my money would be better spent in established medical community than with this quack.

Do I need a president who doesn't know what comments are inappropriate?

I agree that Hillary surely wasn't suggesting that somebody might or should assassinate Barack. (Or like she might say, "Not as far as I know".) That's absurd. Completely. But there is an element of Freudian slip here. And anyway, do I want somebody leading the nation who doesn't have a better grip on her wording? We have him now. It's not working very well. And she was dissembling about the June primaries. Both of the ones referenced by her had only been three months into the campaign, unlike this one that is more than five.

Original article: Viva Hillary Clinton!

All Hillary Supporters will go with McSame

I don't think so. They're just mad and say that now. At the end of the day they will vote democrat, like they always have. If in the remote event that it turns out to be true, then they will get the government they deserve!

Original article: Clinton endorses Obama

Thanks Joan

I voted for Obama. I like him better and he didn't vote for the war. It's that simple. I think Hillary and Barack's stances are very similar. I think the sexism is very deep in this country and this world. In fact, patriarchy is the world religion as I see it. Racism is also deep, but the media was much more disrespectful towards Hillary - and she billed herself as Hillary, that's why I refer to her that way, not from disrespect. The Clinton supporters who refer to Obama supporters as Obama cult etc. aren't doing themselves or anybody a favor. The sexism Hillary experienced was not Barack Obama's fault, nor his supporters. It is a deep schism in the psyche of the human race at this time and place on the planet. Acting and talking ugly (or worse, voting for McCain) is only perpetuating the illness. Hillary did right on her speech and kudos to her. Try to follow in her example.

Original article: A McCain-Lieberman ticket?

Beyond Absurd

Sorry, but these two added up are older than God. It's not possible to have Old McNasty and Elmer Fudd on the same ticket. It will not happen. You read it here.

Great Speech and Not Surprised

I wasn't surprised that Hillary gave a great speech - in fact I expected her to. It was obvious to me that she would rise to the occasion and blow us all away. I've been an Obama fan since Hillary started campaigning so ugly-like - she got bad advice I reckon.

OH, and KateTex is a troll - nobody needs to give him anymore energy! Always was going to vote for McSame I reckon.

Time to become French

Really, enough with the puritanical postures of politicians. I don't care what they do with their sex lives and I don't want them passing laws about mine. As long as they're consenting human adults, it's OK with me. And leave me alone while you're at it!

Original article: Say it ain't so, Joe!

It's beyond the pale

If in fact he justifies what he is doing by exercising his right to free speech - which he has - then the dems have the right of free speech too, and he shouldn't be planning on doing anything "unconscionable" when he is asked to get off the bus, as it were. Then we'll see who he is. It's true; you lie down with dogs, you get up with fleas - dems should take it heart.

Well Dang, Let's Give some Credit Where Credit's Due

Really, it is just slightly possible that they guy has integrity. But call me naive. I probably am, but since I know next to nothing about this chap, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Good on you Charlie!

The Clintons USED to be admired in Europe

I have many Europeans and some Asians through my establishment and they have consistently said they were shocked by Hillary and Bill Clinton's comportment during the primary. Almost all, to a tee, used to admire them. So perhaps foreign heads of state admire the Clintons, but I doubt that the people still do. Anyway, that's the way I see it.

The guy is an utter fu**wit

What's up with these guys? Perhaps they need to study the Republican style of governing - the Republicans passed everything they wanted with a democratic congress and a president who stole the election, who did not have a mandate and yet, low and behold, the democrats sign on to all that president's desires - war in Iraq being a big one. Time to grow a spine guys! Yikes.
