I already feel sexier...

And that's sayin' something for an old wrinkled guy in his 70s.

[Veg really IS energizing. I admit to being somewhat surprised by that...but there were years of 'meat & potatoes strength and vitality' propaganda to get over]

And this ..en passant ..today, as well

THE ROVING EYE

Welcome to Planet Gaza

By Pepe Escobar

http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Middle_East/II22Ak03.html

"No wonder Likud superstar Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu loves these Likudnik-style methods.

It proves how the majority of Israel's political elite is still wallowing in the mire of Zeev Jabotinsky, a Zionist in love with fascism in 1930s Europe.

This treatment of Palestinians bears all the elements of fascism:

- radical (Israeli) nationalism; [militarism~jingoism]

- racism (the demonization of Palestinians as a sub-race);

- colonialism; [industrially disposed, the Israeli US-fomented *MIC]

- expansionism (the goal of Israel); a

- penchant for a military dictatorship (the preferred method for ruling Palestinians); and

- absolute indifference to the point of despising the (Arab) poor. "

[Ike's 'military industrial complex' - or conspiracy]

Off topic..Re:Saban....?

A New Poodle and a New War?

"Sarkozy is sending loud signals that France’s new ethical posture is ready to align and or subordinate France’s foreign policy to the most neoconservative of Washington’s many predilections, says

Muqtedar Khan."

http://www.middle-east-online.com/english/?id=22318

"Dr. Muqtedar Khan is Associate Professor at the University of Delaware and a Senior Nonresident Fellow with the Saban Center at the Brookings Institution.]

[Colleague of Pollard..or? they not all entirely on same page?]

And ...Baucus, of course.

That sed...

Original article: Stopping the hands of time

That's interesting...

...because I've read that men with veiny~capable looking hands are considered sexy. The backs-of , naturally.

[umm, too - the hands , not the men.]

Or maybe? it's just the 'capable' part.

Gore shut up in the 2000 debacle...

Kerry shut up over the Swift Boat atrocity

And Rather shut up about CBS - their

enabling a really inferior human....

to be President of the United States of America.

*And they all shut up because of the squeaky wheel

which IS the right wing noise machine.

What they DO is squeak! It's their job.

*So, good.

Rather's got a chance to make it right.

Lets quit oilin' that frakkin' wheel. Huh?

Prostate Ca

[Prob. already noted]

Ejaculation..any format...beneficial in prevention.

NEJM (2002?)

Original article: Condomania

I have a friend who loves her condo..

And I thought, 'well' and......

Maybe Rove was right...

"The man makes no sense."

IS unbalanced?

Original article: Sick children left behind

I swear...

I think it's a loot-the-treasury-ASAP/quick-quick-before-they-notice

With LOTS of 'war' spending enriching the bothers and sisters in the cabal.

So they'll be stashed for whenever that thing called 'Republican'

ever crawls out again from under the rock.

[i had an image of a muddy elephant slimed all over with dollar bills

squeezing -grimaced -out from under a big rock]

The sick kids can in the meantime, of course, simply continue to...eat cake.

Original article: Sick children left behind

Harsh!

"This man is a liar of monsterous proportions. This man is dangerous. This man is destroying our nation.

-- AKA Smith "

I love the terminology.

We need to use the words more often.

Less polity, less comity...the thugs never register anything

Less than invective.

I bet..

that tight coupling is more linear (chain linkage analogy) than-

"tight coupling," a term borrowed from the field of engineering.

A tightly coupled system is one in which a change in one constituent part quickly propagates to everything that it is connected to. In other words, break one little piece, and a space shuttle crashes or a nuclear plant shuts down. "

would indicate.

Which last two examples are more whole systems event or failure...like an

avalanche [the final photon or least additional yodeled decibel ]

or earthquake [the very last 'frictal', y'know]

Unless the system is also highly cross-linked...like chainmail.

Credentialism

That what happens here;

...As a Holocaust survivor, saved in my childhood by a courageous Polish Catholic woman who hid me from the Nazis, and as one ..."

Which is not, of course, to address the argument but to belittle/impugn

the one with whom there is supposed to be discourse;

a plaintiff here, and one who brings to the discussion a question...

the defense does not like.

[Michael Gordon NYT is famous for it. If you haven't been to Iraq your opinion doesn't count...because he has - however little he may have ventured from the Fort.]

Original article: The gloves come off on Iraq

She's third on my list of Dem hopefuls I'd vote for...

But.

"...we don't know what we're going to inherit from the Bush-Cheney administration.."

That's a valid point.

Original article: Daily wanking

And don't forget the prostate

Cancer there is reputed (NEJM 2003) to be prevented by lots of ejaculation

almost any kind you come onto...hetero-, homo- or home-alono-.

Great place for the 'existential' word...ejaculation is an existential good.

Wednesday, October 17, 2007 12:49 PM

Lahey

Sometime give us a read on this guy..

Who will apparently fold on another awful nomination?

[V'always kind of liked him.]

Thursday, October 18, 2007 08:23 PM
Original article: The healthcare war

Uh, Walter....

"Healthcare is so complex and the details so daunting that it is tempting for voters to abandon the fray. "

....the VA?

Friday, October 19, 2007 01:11 PM

Health Andrew, health and 'the economy'.

Enough pollution of the air , the water or even the food and...

Consequent illness or unavailability of labour...

[unless sequestered somehow - The Lost World or Shangri-La - perhaps

from the wider world.]

Production falls and pollution feeds back into the equation.

Such a thing might evoke special concerns if said

industrial fat-cat's own fat-cat family or fat-cat self

were exposed.

Besides, Mordor sucks...existentially.

Saturday, October 20, 2007 02:51 PM
Original article: Don't think of a sick child

And don't think of: A big SWAT team gathered at your inoffensive door

...all in black with masks, and weapons and goggles

Having conveniently 'not bothered' with the warrant and....

DO start remembering 4th Amendment things ....too.

[while you're NOT thinking about the sick kids you've either lost or seen

back to health. Signed MD who has lost a few and thanks to this piece is now remembering...that]

Tuesday, October 23, 2007 12:44 PM

Terrific line...

..I can see the cowards doing just

"...fine-dining blowhards prate and prance to the music of keening mothers and dying soldiers."

this dance.

Friday, October 26, 2007 11:47 AM

That IS nice...

Mr. McCain said:

'They should know what it is. It is not a complicated procedure. It is torture.'

.

One really gets the sense that this is a very decent person...

Caught up in an insane time...in machinations, not all his.

Or like that.

Aren't they the ones...

Making money from managing (skimming?) foreclosures?

Or was that Northern rock?
