Getting knocked up
[Read the article: Can abortions lead to mental illness?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The term "getting knocked up" implies being a victim of something ... which seems to be the slant that pro-choicers tend to prefer when referring to the poor pitiful woman who "get knocked up" against her wishes and must now destroy the invading enemy called Embryo because she just can't help it. Both sides have their preferred Madison Avenue techniques in describing abortion.

More productive
[Read the article: Do childless women make the most productive lawyers?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Studies also show that women who are teaching their own children, scheduling entire households, preparing meals and paying the bills are much more prone to have less time for theater productions and symphony attendances. Tsk. Duh.

I thought liberals hated preachers.
[Read the article: Rev. Jeremiah Wright isn't the problem]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Now, a preacher is suddenly deified because he's associated with Obama. What gives?

Jared Leto as Mark David Chapman
[Read the article: The man who murdered John]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I do not even know him, but Jared Leto spoke beautifully about this movie and his role in it. On the issue of MDC, I am one of those uber-sensitive Lennon fans, but Leto and the interviewer explains it so that I am in complete union with them on exploring this subject in the way the movie does.
I also particularly agree with his collective consciousness vent. Yes.

Girl on girl action
[Read the article: Meghan McCain is, like, totally a genius]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I want to make two points:
1) Ya know, I hate it when we women are our own worst critics, no matter what flavor of woman we are so easily criticizing. Whatever happened to the utopian idea that we women stand together against harsh, simplistic stereotypes (or was that only if they were like YOU)?
2) Who really cares what anyone says about anyone?
