Obama is going to get screwed by the military, and it looks like Hillary is doing what she can to assist.

What on earth is the military going to accomplish for Obama that they could not accomplish for Bush? And they ostensibly loved Bush and were wholeheartedly trying to make his policies work. And they were a whole lot fresher seven years ago, too.

If the War on Iraq (what else could it be?) and the War on Afghanistan, both undeclared weren't right to start with, how can President Obama make them any righter? And in case no body's noticed, the military has profoundly failed at every objective except defeating Iraq's army, a pretty much foregone conclusion. But since then, all of the things which were supposed to be accomplished through the military, the occupation and reconstruction, political settlement, fewer militants, etc, etc, go unaccomplished and getting worse, along with humanitarian disasters caused by the wars.

And this is going to turn around for Obama? At this point I can only see two strategic objectives behind the military's every move; first, to avoid, at any cost, any accounting which rises higher than lower ranks, and any accounting for the military's commercial partners must be avoided. Financial, moral, legal or military, all accounting must be squelched. Second, make sure public ire towards the military can be diverted elsewhere. And Obama makes a perfect scapegoat.

I cannot figure it out. What does Obama think the military is going to do for him? If Obama had announced that the military was at the end of its rope and needed substantial rest and re-fit, would that have been so bad? And good ol' Hillary makes sure to announce that our resources and attention should be directed towards Chinese political crimes within their own country, not finding out what, and why, America has committed crimes in nations across the globe.

Almost six-freakin'-hundred coments on Israel-Palestine, and all my old ziocaine buddies present and spewing, and I missed it. One thing for sure, when the ziocaine comes out, there's no room for anti-Semantics.

Big, big difference between proclaiming you bigotry to the world at large and placing a threatening message on a specific person's door. There's also the trespassing aspect (yes graffiti is a misdemeanor offense. The fact that someone trepsassed to place a message to impact selected people may indicate to the police the threat should be taklen more seriously.
