How about "Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!"
Shorter Camille: "Look at ME! Look at ME! I still hate the Clintons!"
She hasn't said one word worth hearing or reading since the '80's. She's so stale, and yet Salon thinks she's revolutionary!?!?! She tries to shock with her hate-filled blather, much the same as Ann Coulter does, and fails just as spectacularly.
Perhaps she’s jealous that Madonna is still on top of her game ... LOL!
Camille is completely irrelevant and Salon should drop her immediately.
Glenn,
You nail another one! It just gets easier and easier, doesn’t it? It’s painfully obvious that John King isn’t even aware of to what depths he and his ilk of television “journalists” have sunk. There is no credibility left. All they have is their “kewl kidz” club mentality to defend. If he really thinks that he can look himself in the mirror and not cringe, because he knows he’s “tried to be fair”, then he’s in complete denial of what a hack he is. Everyone should pass around a link to this article. Maybe public shame will bring King around … not!
I really didn't like this movie much. Lots going on, too much of it unexplained (what was the uprising about, who were the people in the cages, etc.).
Much better book.
Poor start for this season. Arrogance factor is way up there with too many of the "I have cooked food that they can't even imagine" types. And half of this crowd can't even cook classic dishes or don't know what they are.
I have to agree that "Top Chef" doesn't take food as seriously as "Project Runway" does with clothes. Where have any of the "Top Chef" winners gone? You rarely see them any where, as opposed to "Project Runway" winners and even runners-up who have successful fashion lines on the market.
"Top Chef" does the drama better than the food. And having Rocco Dispirito as a judge? He's a major failure in his own right. Tom Coliccio's schitck is getting old and he seems like he's there just to get a check. I'll give it another show or two, but if it doesn't pick up any, I'll be missing this season without regret.
Glenn,
You really should be syndicated in the nation's largest newspapers. Your articles are important. I can't reach enough people just by e-mailing your Salon articles. Imagine how this Presidential campaign would be far away a lead by Obama. I wish the Obama campaign would use them or cite them in campaign material/ads.
Same old Camille. Still so bitter about Madonna? Why? Is it because she still has a valid career and you do not?
I loved the lie: "serial adoption" ... she has 1 adopted son. A series requires several (see Pitt, Brad and Jolie, Angelina).
A friend e-mailed this to me:
Here's what I would have said.
Let me help out the McCain campaign because someone over there is pretty stupid. What I said is to have a campaign where you have the same tax policy, the same spending policy, the same foreign policy, the same education policy and to have in your own words voted with George Bush 90% of the time and then to say you are an agent of change is, well, to put lipstick on a pig. I never said any thing about Sarah Palin, but what I will say now is that after having found she has lied about her support for the bridge to nowhere and then keeping the 300 million after the bridge was voted down is piggish. To have taken per diem charges for 322 days when she went home for dinner is waddling up to the trough of taxpayer funds to take your fill and is piggish. And not only is it piggish it shows that Sarah Palin will fit into the business as usual Washington culture they both she and John McCain claim to abhor.
