Many people who are prochoice would try to avoid having an abortion. Many people would choose otherwise. That's why it's called choice. Not every unplanned pregnancy need end in abortion.
So what if the movie avoids the abortion issue. It's a movie and a comedy at that. Abortion is not an issue that invites chuckles.
Obviously someone cares about Paris.
It is a little shameful really. You all could be gathering dreams, praying, singing, working in s soup kitchen, or actually caring about mentally ill prisoners who could use the help of a jail diversion program.
If hate is what you put out, what do you think you get back?
If trivia is what interests you, how will you enrich your minds?
This nonsense is equivalent to The National Enquirer at the supermarket checkout line. You all don't purchase that rag, do you? But put the Salon label on it and you think you can have a debate?
I think you've got it wrong. Choice is about individuals and not about the attitudes of society. One woman making one choice; maybe even before the subject ever comes up, deciding what that choice would be. Just as people should think ahead about birth control, they can also think ahead about what choices they would make concerning abortion should birth control fail. It does not have to impact any other woman's choice. It's personal. Furthermore, choosing not to choose is also a choice.
Please remember that Roe v. Wade was decided with the protection of a woman's privacy in mind. That means that she doesn't have to lay out all her thoughts for the debate and consideration of others.
Women, who under no circumstances would have an abortion, are not a slap in the face to women who would choose one. Respect for a difference of opinion on this matter works both ways.
I am not sure what you are trying to say, but I have read both reviews and, though they come to some of the same conclusions, this is hardly surprising. Hillary books have been done to death. The New York Times also points this out. What is there to say?
In wording and style all three authors are quite different. As a former college English instructor, who loved to find plagiarism, I can assure you, there is no smoking gun here.
For instance, you say I mentioned Iraq in my single post in this thread when I did not. Also, you misspelled skimmed in your reply to me by putting it in quotes as "skimed" when I in fact spelled it correctly in my single post in this thread. If you think I am going to stand by and let you mischaracterize what I said, you are so wrong!
I suspect you have no awareness of what a jail diversion program for the mentally ill actually is, or you would have understood its relevance to this thread.
Since you say the article that garnered so many of these threads is classed as entertainment, will you please tell me what sort of entertainment Paris Hilton actually does? Does she sing? Dance? Act? Twirl a fire baton?
I said you are a liar.
