Original article: Sarah Palin's choice

ghoulish?

I do regret engaging now. Although you mention being against the Iraq war--you do not mention calling McCain ghoulish for his engagement and refusal to admit we were dishonest for our reasons going in. 600,000 Iraqis had died in 2006.

Despite your soft tone, I find you no more fair or honest than others who hold your views who I also find discouraging...I had a conversation with my mother tonight on the same subject, and like you she said nothing when I told her that the number of abortions decreases under a Democratic president and increases under a Republican president.

The fact that you did not respond to this and neither did she means that you are not really engaging in diplomacy or listening, but rather producing pre-fabricated talking points.

According to your predetermined position, it is an all or nothing solution--a legal or political one. And when I tell you that the cost of not engaging in diplomacy and instead issuing an edict (reversing roe v wade) will be all out war in our society...neither you nor her flinch at all.

telling.

This depresses me. My tax money is used to kill innocent Iraqis. I call you a hypocrite unless you will admit that McCain is ghoulish for his support of the Iraq war.

The moment you called Obama ghoulish--I knew your mind was closed and you weren't listening to what I said. I stand with peeps and I stand with Obama. What do you say if I assert that under a president obama with his support for women and for health care there will be fewer abortions, and under a president mccain without changes to health care and with less social support for struggling women and millions more losing family income and health insurance and greater wealth inequalities...there will be more abortions?

If I am correct--and I am if Obama's policies resemble Clintons and McCain's resemble Bush's--which they do--whose fault will this be if McCain is elected and there are more abortions as a result of it?

Who will bear the responsibility for the number killed then--which I hope that you will keep track of--? Will it be you?

Just think, had you voted for Gore eight years ago, how many babies you could have saved, how many Iraqis, how many Americans, and then tell me if you feel bad for electing that Republican for his pro-life views?

The Republican party has conned you over these past eight years and you are ready to let them con you again--I wonder if in some part of you--you know this.
