Original article: Blockbuster blackface

Oh, PLEASE! Get. Over. Yourself.

Despite being an avowed liberal, I cannot wait until the plague of political correctness is thrown upon the trash heap of good ideas gone bad. Seriously, "folks is the same, and folks is different." And whenever someone starts joking about these similarities or differences, you can sit back and agree, disagree, or, as was clearly intended with this film, laugh. But, don't sit down to pen some asinine piece on how someone could conceivably be offended by what someone or some work of art said. Some idiot or seemingly intelligent person out there will always be offended. Some idiot or otherwise intelligent person will be indifferent. And some idiot or seemingly intelligent person out there will laugh. Just let folks be folks, and lose the PC baggage.

King, love the column, but the Super Bowl was Sunday. Today is Tuesday, February 7, 2006, and that means that everyone's attention should be focused on one thing: Carolina vs. Duke!!!
