You can't talk about charity without in the same breath talking about

birth control. But you can't talk about that in a society in which the fertility cult is all powerful. Everything must bow to the 'right' to pump out munchkins. Gays must be trashed, the media must be dumbed down to a 3rd grade level, and tax credits must be showered on married folk.

Even without all that, talking about charity to Americans is a waste of time. They're hopelessly selfish and heartless, puppets of the commerical media.

Talk is cheap anyway. There's a ton that can be done, and no one is stopping ya'll from any modest action, making a regular donation, washing a dish at the local food project, or pounding a nail for Habitat. But it's always more fun to discuss the ethics of the great plan for Universal revivification.

Thanks Mr. Lind. It was shocking when the finance men made this claim on TV.

And no one called them on it.

I'm waiting and waiting for serious regulation, and for Obama to appoint competent managers in businesses we already own. Meanwile, the public sit on their lazy butts and let them walk off with megazillions.

It is no fun having to depend on the slobbering masses.

Original article: Obama turns into Clinton?

I wish he were Clinton. He promised to be during the primary.

Now instead of fiscal responsible Clintonimics, he gives us a Keynesian hog fest designed to put us deeper in hock to the people holding the national debt. It's the usual tactic of the powers that be to enrich themselves through interest payments on the debt. And the rank and file still haven't noticed. Judging by their history, I think they actually like being swindled.

Original article: Obama turns into Clinton?

Jebldmm, you are so right. Obama spoke only abstractions and canned rhetoric.

And his supporters lapped it up.

I only wish he had stayed with the neo liberlism he promised, and not turned back the clock 70 years to this Keynesian nightmare.

If they weren't bothered by his shallow speechifying, of course they won't notice his about face on economic policy.

Original article: Bacon-flavored capitalism

What's the point in complaining about anything? The public have the vote, the strongest

tool in the box. And they don't use it. They're too lazy to study the issues and are easily distracted by the nonsense gushing from every media oriface, including Sirota's latest fancy.

What a joke; we've already got massively intelligent people trying to

talk sense into the public; but Americans don't listen, probably because they they can't bear the hint that someone might be smarter or kinder; they treated the Clintons like dirt and dumped their economic policies at the first opportunity in favor of a Keynesian hogfest.

And there are admirable people all over the place, doing good works and living responsibly, who get ignored in order that shallow Hollywood rubes get all the press. Please.

Thanks again O Lind Meister. Another nice piece of journalism,

and a good strategic move, giving counter arguments before the propaganda hits the fan.

Up From Conservatism showed you to be a bright light in the liberal galaxy.

Original article: Just call her Lady Justice

Basic fairness is obviously of no interest to the general public, but I'd like

to see a gay man. A Queen on the Court. Oh yeah. Straight men and women already own the Universe. And considering how much we've contributed to this rube fest, it would be nice if we could get a smidge in return.

Austincynic is so right. Roddensmuffler created a civilized

society and left behind this savage culture. It was too sweet. Next generation was faithful to the original vision.

But the movie versions, as everything in today's Hollywood, pander to public ignorance and predjudice. The new one is no exception. The logical, educated Vulcans are nearly exterminated. The crew are reduced to (very straight) sex objects. And the story line is too action packed to allow even a smidge of high culture.

It's still a great time. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Hollywood trash is the finest trash there is.

Sunday, May 17, 2009 11:26 PM

As usual, the public are sitting on their hands.

They're too lazy to study the issues and too ignorant to use the vote effectively. Meanwhile, big money controls healthcare, and without massive public pressure, reform is going nowhere.

Yes Virginia, we're again at the mercy of the slobbering masses. They don't care two straws about the uninsured. There's no sign they every will.

Original article: Our unending war of terror

Chomsky is back to cherry picking the record to make us

into the worst monsters ever. It's standard for the Leninist elite. And they have a new game, ignoring critical evidence like the attack we suffered and our very dangerous enemies.

Chomsky didn't lift a finger when his editor freinds stumped for Nader and put Bush into office. He either doesn't know or doesn't care that if Gore had won there probably would have been no 9-11. As Clinton used intelligence to prevent attacks against us, so Gore would have used the available evidence; and there was more than enough. Either way, Gore would never have allowed torture.

We begged the Leninists to help us defeat Bush. They laughed in our faces. Their minions ignored third grade arithmetic and gave the Court the wiggle room to put psycho boy in office.

They have yet to apoligize for this betrayal. And now Chomsky has the unmitigated gall to complain about Bush's crimes. He must think liberals are as stupid as the general public.

But I for one will never forget that Chomsky and his ilk put George W in office in the first place.

Wednesday, May 20, 2009 07:47 PM

It's been obvious from day one that the stimulus is full of pork.

But the dems are too lazy to force Obama to keep his campaign promises, give us fiscally responsible Clintonomics instead of this Keynesian hog fest.

As always, the public are asleep at the switch. They must enjoy indentured servitude, and having to pay infinite interest on the national debt. It's a waste of time to complain about politicians. The problem is the slobbering masses.

Friday, May 22, 2009 02:57 PM

Here we go with the bleeding hearts complaining about every

injustice without ever offering a practical solution.

In case you haven't noticed, the country is under attack by people armed with modern weaponry. And we have a few other things on our plate, left there by the incompetent Bush administration.

I can't decide whether Greenwald and Co. have become a cliche or a stereotype. More likely, they're following commercial media's orders to distract attention from serious matters. We have other things to worry about than the comfort zone for prisoners of war.

Original article: Rx and the single payer

Of course Obama abamdoned single payer, just like he

backed off of fiscal responsibility. The powers that be in both parties won't allow anything serious without a major struggle. And the public are too lazy to even study the issues. Until they do, robber barons will go on looting the economy. It's pathetic.
