Original article: Calm down, Keith

First Koppelman tells us the media is fair. Now Olberman is to

loud discussing a person responsible for thousands dead, billions of dollars wasted, and the economy in shreds. Looks like Koppelman is sucking up to the editorial board for a juicier gig.

But we shouldn't forget that Olbeman and Rachel work for NBC, a network that put Bush into office twice. Their shows are totally weak. They stay far away from policy deliberation and spend their time on insults and empty rhetoric. As always with Olberman's screeds, this one is almost empty of facts and argument, but jammed full of insults: divisiveness, delusional, manias, help terrorists, delusions of granduer, infamous, nonsense, pretense, naivete, split personality, reprehensible, etc... It may feel good to have someone tell Cheney off, but this is mostly name calling at a time when we have more serious concerns.

As citizens, our duty is to help formulate policy, especially now. But commercial media wants us out of the process so they can dominate it. Thus, the top liberal shows on tv, including Stewart and Colbert's, are empty of serious content.

Original article: Obama's team of zombies

It starts already. The far left is trashing Obama on cherry picked evidence,

just as they did to the Clintons. The left live in a self righteous dream world and never understood why the Universe doesn't get down on its knees and worship their holy wisdom. Ignorant of 3rd grade arithmentic and the winner take all system, they joyfully voted for Nader and put Bush in office. Now they're turning on the party yet again.

Even mountains of evidence have no effect on the fantasy. The Clintons had the most spectacular record of our time. Didn't matter. They made the best deal they could on dadt, but went to the mat for healthcare, a sensible choice. It was a betrayal of all we hold sacred and shall forever dishonor the eternal wisdom of perfect equality. They could dodge and weave with skill enough to accomplish great things in a savage political environment. But they weren't shining saints of the eternal wisdom of perfect equality, and they've brought eternal disgrace upon us all.

Obama has brought on board the most skilled and knowledgeable team available. He hasn't been in a month. And already he's a thief and zombie.

It boils down to that Southern comedian's saying: you can't fix stupid.

I was of the far left for 10 years, until the 2000 election when we begged our freinds not to put Bush in. But Nader supplied the big lie that dems and repubs are the same, and a crazy fantasy called proportional representation, that they used to divert attention from what they were doing. From far left editors, they learned to think only in rhetorical tricks: diversion and distraction, cherry picking every political move, ignoring the vast evidence of Clinton success, casting everything in the worst light, character assasination and demonization, empty self righteousness, etc... The list goes on forever. They were too stupid to understand 3rd grade arithmetic but now they wan't to explain how Obama should handle the advanced industrial economy. To this day they haven't admitted what they did in 2000 or offered an apology. But they have the gall to tell us how the President should negotiate the political system.

Because of America's many and hoffific crimes, the far left despise this country and will always find ways to trash it. It's an ongoing emotional problem that leaves them unable think logically.

For 8 years I watched the Clintons dodge and weave, and always move policy as far as possible in the liberal direction. I was disappointed with some of their surrenders, but on the whole they made many brilliant political calculations and got a lot done. It was a thing of beauty. And I look forward to Obama doing the same.

Good post Joan. And it looks like a great strategy for The Obamatron.

But there are other moves I wish he'd make. Apart from taking his case to the people directly, he should send his attack dogs against the media and senate repubs. He should get the pork out of the bill. And the tax cuts are iffy. We're too far in debt for either. The cuts might work if people spend them, and every new job should be for something the economy needs.

It would also be great pr if he can explain all this to the public. He's certainly a good enough orator to do it, but if he needs help, some liberal money bags should get off their lazy butts and finance a pr campaign.

I'm sorry. But this sounds like more of Obama's empty rhetoric. He needs to do

some serious explaining of what our real problems are.

Much needs to be done for folks who've lost their jobs and homes. The government needs to rewrite the bad mortages and take a a modest cut out of a more modest profit margin. The new federal jobs must be to stimulate industry and modernize the infrastructure.

But all this must be done in a fiscally responsible manner. Government debt means that we're are paying interest to private financial concerns. And it hampers the government from doing needed work. Bill Clinton figured that one out, among his many brilliant observations.

That will mean tax increases on the wealthy, and spending from all of us on industries that we want to strengthen. I'm going back to bussing to work. And I'm trying to figure out how to spend more strategically. Buying American made products should help. But if anyone has any ideas on this, I'm all ears. It also should help to work for a charity group.

Bottom line: I want to do everything I can to help The Obamatron. As the first African American, it's imperative that he succeed. For the nation, but also for the moral strength of liberalism. The stakes are massive, so be sure that republicans are not just going to roll over. And we all need to be thinking about how we can help.
