Ask the wingnut - to shut up and leave.

Why does Salon feel that we need one more outlet for the conservative crap that has crippled and shamed our nation?

If this was the 1950's, would we have "Ask a Nazi and a Fascist", for commentary on the European political scene?

This is what national political parties are for. It is not Salon's place, nor is it in the reader's interest, to be pushing this rancid spin.

Obama is not a miracle worker...

...just because he said something Horowitz can agree with.

Horowitz is still an idiot.

Waste of pixels.

When do we get a weekly defense of the talking points of the Whigs, the Nazis, and every other dying political philosophy?

"Walker" adds nothing to the many rightwing websites out there. If we want this, stuff, the GOP has offices and websites for their propaganda.

Is pushing crap like "Walker" and Paglia supposed to boost your evenhandedness cred? It doesn't. You waste resources for this stuff.

Why did they snub "The Shield"?

Maybe it's because the cop show is the most boring, overused, hackneyed device in TV.

Maybe after a dozen different "CSI" airing 24/7, the viewing public is sick to friggin' death of cop shows.

"But, but, but, this one's better!!!"

Sorry, no it's not. It's just more crap. More, more, of the same, same, BlamBlam crapola.

Perpetual care for every gesture.

Does we need to museum every snapshot, teddy bear, chocolate bar, can of beer, locket of hair, and poem on a slip of paper that is left at every federal gravesite?

Pepople will have to handle their own grief, and not make the government responsible for it. The U.S. keeps beautiful sites like Arlington to the memory of our fallen warriors. These gestural tchotchkes are sweet, but expensive, too expensive to memorialize forever.

We have museumed the mementoes at "The Wall", an unusual and interesting project at one site. This doesn't make us responsible in perpetuity for every sentimental deposit at every grave. Take the stuffed animals, baseball gloves, and balloons home, and grieve amongst our loved ones, in private, the way people have for millenia.

Porn sex

Porn sex, including facials, goofy get ups, the pubic Hitler trim, and spooging on the small of her back, is some of the dumbest-assed sex ever. It's a sure sign, ladies, that you've got a chronic wanker on your hands. And face.

If you don't usually wear a $2000 dress, a wedding is no reason to start.

Our wedding took place at a county courthouse, then the reception was at my old roommate's place. We brought a carload of beer and wine and cheap champagne. Food from the grocery deli, a favorite Chinese joint, and a chicken BBQ shack down the road. The band was me and a bunch of friends. Another pal deep fried a turkey. Bride's outfit was $25 worth of thrift store shopping. I wore my staple blue blazer, also from a thrift store ten years earlier. The only extravagance was a cheesecake wedding cake from a renowned local bakery.

We had about 60 or so guests. Cost: $1500, including a maid service to clean up the day after. We took the leftover half of the food, and about twenty of the guests, back to where we lived, to party away the rest of the honeymoon weekend. Every guest said they'd never had a better time at a wedding - even those who had had fancy mega-weddings.

And this wasn't a reaction to a recession. It was 1993, and we just did what we think is truly fun.

Just remember how much of a drag the standard wedding actually is, and create a GOOD (not impressive) time for all!

That's an easy one.

There's plenty of evidence that parenthood makes you stupider. Don't lie - you've seen it happen to yourself and your friends.

Ergo, it makes you more conservative.

O Christ, here we go again.

we were in the not-so-unusual New York position of spending her entire income, and then some, on paying a nanny

Money is fungible. Why is it always the ratio of "her salary" to child care expenses?

Why not "we spend X% of our joint income on child care"?

Drivel.

Why edify oneself by reading, say Joan Walsh, only to then read Paglia and wind up stupider than when you started.

God, cut this poser loose.

Original article: Pelosi's victory for women

Still a waste of pixels.

Put this pseud out to pasture.

No.

as much as Prejean's subsequent behavior embarrassed straight Christians she purported to speak for

It was not Prejean's subsequent behavior, it was prior behavior. She had already engaged repeatedly in conduct which she subsequently decried.

Dump them.

So these nasty women are now grown up with all their grown up problems.

Maybe those problems are a result of being shallow nasty people. They only seem more welcoming because as they've gained adult poise, the nasty is not so out front.

You need to recognize how pathetic your attraction to them is. They aren't your friends, and you are not theirs.
