Democrats quake at the bloodthirsty image of a pit bull and underestimate the endearing qualities: the vicious tenacity and brutal loyalty of the GOP pin-up VP.
I was nauseated when McCain endorsed Bush in 2004, especially after what Rove smeared about his family during the 2000 primary. Then he picked Palin. McCain is a shill.
I think bush is pretty. Our bushy bodies look modest and mysterious. Also, shaving is only smooth for one day. After that it is like it is itchy and scratchy; looks and feels awful. And "manscapping"? Really guys, don't metro-out on us. We have enough women.
I don't hire housekeepers or maids because I think people should clean up their own messes. It is lazy and degrading to leave your ##@! toilets and cat litter boxes (!) for someone else to clean up. Let slobs learn to clean up their own houses.
We upper-middle class, self-employed and uninsured. We pay cash for medical bills, as do a third of the 47 million uninsured Americans. Individual private health insurance is a poor value. Because my husband has high-blood pressure (along with 25% of adult Americans),my family is exempt from any affordable policies. Insurance underwriters consider hypertension a pre-existing condition. Those companies willing to sell us a policy @$725/mo. exclude doctor visits, physicals, dental, vision, Rx and mental health. They offer $10,000 deductible/year and $200,000/family lifetime cap. So for almost $20,000/year, including deductible, for no thank you. I refuse to buy such a lousy product.
I have issues with the people content with their employer-sponsered, tax-free health insurance. Why don't they allow my family to buy a public option policy? That is my only choice. Illegal aliens at emergency rooms will continue to receive care, at inflated costs. If you are so angry at illegal aliens getting injured and sick, direct your venom at their employers-the large majority whom do not offer health insurance to their low wage workers.
My family is uninsured. My husband and I are self-employed and must shop for health insurance through the individual private market. We are 56, 55 and have a son of 18. Since my husband has a pre-existing condition, (high-blood pressure, the most affordable plan offered to our family had premiums of $725/mo. This insurance was a high-deductible plan. It did not cover doctor visits, dentist, vision, Rx, mental health. It had a list of approved physicians and hospitals, to go outside the list was not covered. Emergency visits were only covered at 25%. The annual deductible was $10,000. We can not afford this insurance. Even if we could afford it, I would refuse to buy such a lousy product. The public option insurance plan is marketed to us. I wish Rick Scott, all his allies and all the insured people in America would just let my family have a choice.
I agree with Mr. Reich about buying the SBA debt. There is no lending to small businesses from banks. They have their bailout, that's all that matters.
