Looks like the "Old World" gets it right, again.

Wonder if our side of the pond will ever catch up.

Monday, March 10, 2008 08:46 AM

Nice girl.

Pity her father's a bit of a rotter.

Wednesday, March 12, 2008 09:15 AM

Careful there, Elephantman.

Because, what could possibly be more important to Democrats than "good TV"? Certainly not "national security."

If this is humour, its a poor effort.

If you're serious, you need serious medical help. "Bush Derangement Syndrome" this severe is almost unheard of, but fortunately isn't as contagious anymore.

Shall we fetch tina schrier some smelling salts?

The poor girl sounds like she's having the vapors.

Mr. Greenwald, you are now acting like a real bully. Not to mention you are patently unfair.

You are also employing exactly the tactics of the conservatives you claim to despise.

Alas, poor tina. Unable to face the sheer meaness of the world, she cannot help but lash out at those who call those meanies out. Oh, woo is her.

Twit.

All natural fertilizer, courtesy of Elephantman.

Democrats don't have the guts and the honesty to campaign openly for Dan Savage's world.

You really enjoy the muck and mire of such swamps, don't you?

The rest of us will keep our feet firmly planted on dry land and reality. You can have the rot and decayed things that populate the fringes.

And please take former Senator "Man on Dog" Santorum with you. I'm sure you two will get along very, very well.

Friday, March 14, 2008 11:45 AM

More all natural fertilizer from Elephantman.

V-E-T-O Not to mention, rejection by the Senate.

Then the question can be asked "Why does President Bush and the (presumably) majority of the Senate hate America?"

Search your own soul (if you still have one) for the answer. I'll wage you don't have the piles to even consider it.

Friday, March 14, 2008 05:01 PM

Perhaps we should go easy on Elephantman.

Save it. I already know the answer. You're talking out of your blow-hole. - Kitt

Isn't that being just a bit cruel to the poor animal? I mean, he's watching his species go extinct in real time. Naturally its going to leave him a tad...unbalanced.

Then again, he has been unforgivably rude lately.

To heck with it. Break out the brick-bats and have at 'em.

A good diagnosis of Elephantman.

Suspect you are A&O x 1. We can put you to bed for the night under implied consent. -- ondelette

He does sound remarkably like an elder relation of mine who recently suffered a medication malfunction and believed he was back in his mother's womb (which made him A&O x 4). Fortunately the episode passed quickly.

One has to wonder if Elephantman is actually x5 as opposed to x1, which means he's become deluded into thinking he's actually human. In which case we may need the heavy-duty tranqs to put him down.

A good laugh, thanks to shooter242.

In actuality, golf is the last refuge of the honorable sportsman.

Then what, pray tell, was person so lacking in 'honor' as yourself doing on the green?

Or were you just someone's caddy?

Saturday, March 15, 2008 05:51 AM

Sure you want to go there, shooter242?

And gosh darn if some liberals don't just love seeing others in pain. Tsk. Tsk. Tsk.

'Liberals' aren't the ones arguing for progroms against the Middle East and muslims the world over.

'Liberals' aren't the ones calling for occupying Iraq for another century, ensuring more death of both US and Iraqi citizens.

You are.

Gosh darn if you don't just love seeing meaningless death and destruction. Tsk. Tsk. Tsk.

Saturday, March 15, 2008 06:46 AM

Quit digging, shooter242.

What was a very good source of information, was completely blown for no good reason, giving a crash course to terrorists of what not to do, and how to avoid scrutiny.

You mean like President Bush stating in a public speech back in 2001 how we would start tapping their cell phones and searching through their financial records?

Something like that?

Saturday, March 15, 2008 03:27 PM

Thanks for the heads up, Elephantman

In other words, after soliciting the advice of an expert whom he trusted, Obama rejected the advice and promptly reverted to the standard, doctrinaire liberal-Democrat position.

Considering Obama was seeking an alternate viewpoint on the issue at hand - which has already been established as blatantly illegal - and not advice?

Clearly you can't read the very source you cite.

Standard, doctrinaire position of your crowd. Again, thanks for heads up.

Now will you please crawl into a deep, dank hole somewhere and just pass away? This is getting tedious.

Saturday, March 15, 2008 03:56 PM

You've already lost the argument, Elephantman.

Is there any policy basis to regard him as anything but a pretty stock liberal Democrat?

From the article you originally cited:

This is the Barack Obama I have known for nearly 15 years -- a careful and evenhanded analyst of law and policy, unusually attentive to multiple points of view.

..Obama has a genuinely independent mind, he's a terrific listener and he goes wherever reason takes him...The Obama we know is no rhetorician; he shines not because he can move people, but because of his problem-solving abilities, creativity and attention to detail... He is most comfortable in the domain of policy and detail."

I'll take this over your crowd of Know-Nothings, warmongers, profit-hungry speculators, and messianic nihlists.

You and yours are obsolescent and going extinct. Accept it. Embrace it. Make it your own.

Now if you'll excuse the rest of us, we've got work to do back in the real world.

Saturday, March 15, 2008 04:14 PM

Strange standards you hold, Elephantman.

I am dead serious when I suggest that it would not look much different from a Kennedy presidency.

And the problem with this is...what exactly?

Don't tell me you prefer the idiots presently sitting in those seats.
