No progress on shooter242's part

So I say to you and whoever else asks, rather than blame Israeli recalcitrance, address Palestinian petulance. How many more years of beating one's head against a wall are you willing to bear. The Israelis are fighting for their lives. For that, there is no time limit.

Has it occurred to you that both sides share a measure of blame? That makes neither side right or wrong, nor excuses either side. I just adds up to a bunch of dead bodies.

Its ultimately less a question of what the rest of us are "willing to bear", its what the Israelis and Palestinians are "willing to bear".

So unless you dear sir are prepared to unleash some super weapon guaranteed to end all strife in that sad corner of the world, please drop the self-righteous tone on the subject. It makes you look even more foolish than normal.

The blind irony of shooter242

While there are countless examples of desire to exterminate Israel, I can't seem to remember any mention of exterminating Iran, Iraq, or even the Palestinians. Your statement is unfair and unbalanced.

You should go back and re-read the Glenn's original post.

And then go back and re-read the one he wrote on Podhoretz.

And then go back and every other post he's written for the last year involving Iraq.

Of course, you've already admitted human life means nothing to you. So I guess you're willful blindness at the company you keep is only to be expected.

Give my regards to Caligula and Himmler when you meet them.

The faux intelligence of shooter242

Perhaps you should consider the idea that labeling those killed Al-Qaeda serves the purpose of not being at war with all of Iraq.

Which conveniently overlooks two points:

1. the US isn't "at war" with multi-ethnic Iraq, but occupying the country it invaded and promised to rebuild.

2. the US is in the middle of a multifaction civil war with a lot of irregulars shooting at both US troops and each other; given they don't wear uniforms or are organized in any conventional fashion, telling one side from the other is close to impossible.

Given these two points, labeling everyone "Al-Qaeda" is neither helpful and in fact does more harm as it presumes everyone is Sunni and automatically targeting the occupying troops. Such is clearly not the case and undermines any hope of a comprehensive settlement.

How would you propose allying with the Sunni if is trumpeted that the US just killed a bunch of Sunni? The same goes for the Shia. That is the whole of Iraq right there.

You've overlooked the Kurds, who don't forget were sheltering the late Al Zawari at one time and are starting to cause troubles wtih Turkey and Iran.

You do catch the obvious point that labelling everyone the same doesn't help, but then you conclude with...

Isn't trying to cause the least offense to the people we are trying to help a good thing?

That is likely the most foolish thing you've suggested to date, and that is saying something.

First, not everyone in Iraq is Sunni and not every Sunni is aligned with Al-Qaeda. Suggesting otherwise is simply going to aggravate everyone.

Second, if the goal is to stabilize Iraq, that's ultimately up the Iraqis themselves. The presence of US troops provides an excuse for them not to reach any settlement with one another as they are both a convenient target and a security proxy.

Finally, this mess isn't going to be solved by military force alone, irregardless who the US claims it is 'fighting' this week. Until you understand that, you've no hope of being taken seriously here.

No progress on PoliticalRealityOnline's part

Greenwald could not be doing a better job of undermining America's national security if he was directly collaborating with the forces of radical Islam that are dedicated to America's destruction. Are you, Glenn?

They write dross like this, and then wonder why they are only mocked and reviled as fools?

New words will have to be coined for this stuff.

"Outrageous" and "Disgusting" don't begin to convey the magnitudes of the offenses involved.

Tuesday, June 26, 2007 08:34 AM

As Glenn states...

Freedom is on the march.

Off a cliff that is.

At this rate, we're going to need to invent completely new words for all this. "Outrageous" and "Monstrous" just don't cut it any longer.

The truth about shoot242

Translation: Because I'm liberal and therefore morally superior.

Jealous much? Can't be easy, being on the wrong side on everything.

What shooter242 fails to see

I haven't seen a single call for a "Fairness Doctrine" on this subject. I wonder why?

Because its playing out before your eyes, and thus no such calls are necessary.

Next question?

The contradiction of Adam Parker

Saddam helping to plan 9/11 is NOT a myth!

It is an outright lie to mislead the people of the United States into supporting a war of aggression!

You realize those two points are completely at odds, right?

And in any case, what evidence do you have Hussein was involved?

A fair question from anonymous

Oh, brother. Do you realize how silly you sound?

Do you?

Its hard to believe tiberius is this stupid

It's...hard to believe that Iran could be involved in Iraq.

Look at a map, son. They're neighbors.

Look at their ethnic make-up. Iran is majority Shia, as is about 60% of Iraq.

Look at the situation. Iraq is falling apart thanks to the US-led invasion/occupation. The last thing Tehran wants is an unstable neighbor.

Its harder to believe Iran wouldn't be involved in Iraq under current circumstances.

But then, I'm presuming you were being serious.

Stick the fork in shooter242, he's done

So you think I've done a 180 and want terrorists to run free?

Give it up, shooter242. You got caught out and are exposed.

Do us all the favor of public seppeku and maybe you family's honor will be cleansed. Or don't.

Either way, you've been reduced to less than a joke.
