Half the posts are promises that we're 100% absotively going to blow up Iran tomorrow and the other half of the posts are snarky insults employing distortions on a posters handle to smugly excoriate anyone who disagrees with that.
Guess it was hoping too much for him to acknowledge reality, never mind actually address the points raised. Instead he fixiates on select comments and writs nonexistent trends large.
Pity. I really was hoping for better.
Here's the abriged version for the rest of the Bizzarro world:
Defend this interpretation.
Otherwise quit pretending you're serious.
Like it or not, a country that has a president threatening genocide, and pursuing a nuclear program is the ultimate nightmare.
You forgot something: President Ahmadinejad is POWERLESS.
HE CAN'T ORDER THE IRANIAN MILITARY TO DO ANYTHING.
HE IS NOTHING BUT A LOUDMOUTH AND A TOOTHLESS FIGUREHEAD.
Kinda takes wind out of your argument, doesn't it?
Presupposing of course that you were serious about it to begin with (which I don't think you are).
Each and every suicide bomber, now and formerly in existence.
Something serious students of terrorism and terrorist tactics have known for a long time.
Yes I know, it's not the answer you had in mind, but it's still true. More importantly, that dialog about killing, from God to believer, happened on a regular basis long before Bush was pushed into dealing with his homocidal counterparts.
Careful, shooter. You might just end up on someone's "watch list" for that.
GG's 'column' is interesting in as far as it goes. But it's basically still a personal blog of counterattacks at people who previously said something snotty to GG or one of his friends.
Very good. This is indeed a personal weblog, and as such is a repository of Glenn's opinions, research, and responses on a variety of issues. It is not and will never be to everyone's taste any more than it will align perfectly to everyone's opinion on the subject at hand.
The fact Glenn chooses to use it to respond to his nominal critics directly is to be commended and not derided. It marks him as more honest and credible in his opinions than the likes of Powerline or LGF.
And your difficulty with this is...what exactly?
I'm asking seriously here.
And the alternatives you people have to offer were what exactly?
'Alternatives' to what, exactly? You're making no sense as usual.
Operative words being "as usual".
what cohen or glenn think? Two ranters arguing.
Who cares what tiberius thinks? Anyone?
Cohen and company aside, there's also this:

Long story short: Antonin Scalia holds the fictional Jack Bauer as an example for why torture is both practical and necessary, doing so a panel discussion with his peers at Ottawa concerning terrorism law this week.
Maybe we all really have fallen down the rabbit hole.
From shooter242:
Any agency can request a special prosecutor for any reason.
* The investigation doesn't require resolution of the stated reason for requesting a special prosecutor.
* Any conflicting statements by objects of special prosecutor result in multi-year prison terms.
What precisely this has to do with either Libby or matters at hand, I've no idea.
Does that about sum it up?
Not in the slightest.
Sure sounds like USSR style justice to me, but apparently Dems are down with it. I'll be encouraging Republicans to decide who among Dems "deserves" to be investigated.
You really need to study history, both recent and distant, a bit better, kiddo. You're making even less sense than usual.
Bush (and his movement) may sincerely desire to do what they believe is best for the country. But curiously enough, this has turned into doing what they believe is best for themselves.
Not all that curious, given it is natural individual hubris to think that what is good for ourselves personally is equally good for the rest of humanity.
The sincerity with which the Right pursues its agenda, the actions it advocates and the benefits it sees from them, are tailored to their interest. For them to step outside that mindset and recognize the negative consequences of it (never mind give them equal weight to their own interests) is about as realistic as expecting Barbara Bush to "bother her beautiful mind" with ongoing despair of the people of the Gulf Coast.
The answer to all of these questions about Greenwald is that his columns are nothing more than a pathetic way to build his own self-image at the expense of a lame duck President with absolutely no regard for the fact that America's most ruthless enemies are countling on the Greenwald's of the world to help them destroy America from within.
Paranoid are we? Or is it just you talking to the mirror again?
am I good and Bush is bad or are you good and I'm good and terrorists are bad or are we all bad and just think we're good?
Precisely the point. Very good.
Now, do you feel courageous enough to address how the actual consequences of the Bush Administration's action could be interpreted as "evil"? I doubt it, but feel free to surprise us.
Just like every other radical fringe kiberal you can't handle the truth you KNOW you're all nutcase's and cooks but you CAN"T HANDLR ethe truth so you CALL GEORGE W. BUSH THE LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD A RADICAL FRINGE!!!
It is considered quite rude to expell methane from your colon in public.
Here endith today's lesson.
