Action AND . . . a Secret Message?

Action adventure shizzle is just that, shizzle. There are varying levels of quality. Pirates was great fun, Spiderman 3 needed an editor.

But wait! Commentary on our public polocy? Woa! The opening scene could have been filmed at guantanamo in a year, that is if you want to put an intellectual eye on it. Trials without due process - execution without trials, hmmm.

And with that, let's take the case of a "message" in the story. People do things they wouldn't normaly do because its "Good Business". The mantra for the film if there was one. That is the crux of this capitalist society we all live in, destroying environments and peoples and cultures for business where in the end those responsible say "it was good business". The pirates said it AND it was the antagonists last words before he was blown to bits. So, in a sense, this could have provided our fearless pop culter hater some fodder if she would have watched it instead of spending 3 hours hating it.

And they weren't "prosthetic tentacles", they were CGI for crying out loud!

Don't be like Fox, inform me with facts.

BLOCKBUSTER EDITS THEIR MOVIES!

CENSORSHIP or EDITING: however you define it. WHY WOULD ANYONE want to see a movie editied from it's original version by someone in some corporation? It just doesn't make any sense. And, how many people out there actually know that? I do, am telling all I know. Why did you not include that fact in your article? BLOCKBUSTER EDITS THEIR MOVIES!

People take this advice:

Rent from a REAL video store (not a chain): and use netflix.

Original article: Got milk powder?

More Milk More Problems

It is sad that the solution seems so out of reach. What is a government for? To help the people of that country. In this situation what can they do? 1. In exchange for letting the export of milk the producers need to keep costs down for domestic uses just as they are now. and 2. Help protect domestic farms from being pushed out by big international corporations. Oh, but wait, WTO rules forbid that. Is India a part of the WTO? I don't know. If they are, they are screwed.

debate over something completely unnecessary

"continued presence there would be very difficult to maintain without them."

Yah, um, don't think so. The army used to do most all those "contractor" services themselves.

We're debating over something that should not even be in existence. We're just F-ing these people more. How can we just stand here and take this? Our government (this administration) is insisting on having a body of people that is above ANY law, and hampering the negotiations of progress for it. This is the most evil thing anyone could do; it is insulting, infuriating and absurd.

This military operation should be handled by the military. Anyone involved should be working under the rule of law. No exceptions.

This administration has run this ship aground repeatedly and keeps finding new ways to do so. Jan 20th will not come soon enough.
