The bionic inspontaneous candidate

Hillary never says anything spontaneous. Every word coming out of her mouth is ttriangulated and focus grouped to death. Of course she wasn't calling openly for Obama's assassination, but she touching a raw nerve-many Americans believe that Obama WILL be assassinated ala MLK. In her opinion, voters and more importantly SD will refuse to go through the trauma of having a Democratic young and charismatic candidate assassinated and prefer her just to avoid it. Those defending her are just enablers of this awful woman.

She wants to be just like Scott

The charts and data she has presented to the SD in her desperate attempt to reverse her defeat are about as truthful as Scott McClellan's answers while WH press secretary.

We don't have free press

because reporters and journalists working in the corporate media aren't free to express anti-establishment views without consequences. If Wolf Blitzer had allowed war critics on his show in the run up to the Iraq invasion instead of virtually shutting them out, he would've been out of a job and a multi-million dollar salary. Look at what happened to Phill Donahue after he allowed war critiques on his show. Right wingers posting here claim that the priciples of the free markets should apply to the media, but nothing can be further than the truth. The media was never supposed to be about corporations maximizing their profits by not antagonizing the government. The media is a safeguard from tyranny. The media's only mission is to prevent the government from lying and deceiving the people, which it could do before and after the Iraq invasion because the media didn't do its job.

It's a dog's world

A media doing its job is no different than the guard dog that's keeping watch on your house. If your rottweiler licks an intruder instead of attacking him, it's worthless. The corporate media has been licking the Bush/Cheney regime for 8 years now, and often in an area where the sun don't shine.

No, no, he hasn't won anything

The Clinton camp has just announced that according to their calculation, a candidate needs to get twenty thousand delegates in order to be declared the winner, so there you have it.

Original article: A Scott McClellan flashback

In defense of Scottie

When he was telling all those obvious lies while press secretary, he always seemed to be uncomfortable and guilty. He always seemed like someone who knew his listeners were well aware he was telling damn lies and apologizing to them silently without having the courage to say it outloud. By comparison, serial liars like Ari Fleischer, Toni Snow and that blond bimbo always seemed to enjoy telling those outrageous lies and never seemed to care that just about everybody knew they were paid serial liars. This is not to justify in any way his profound moral failure of not quitting years ago and telling the nation then what a bunch of liars and deceivers he had been working for.

@Xrandadu Hutman

Incidentally, I hold McClellan in much higher regard that Colin Powell. Powell, never had the courage and integrity to quit and speak out. Even now, 3.5 years after being forced out, he's extremely careful to never directly criticize Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and the rest of that criminal gang. And he never apologized to the more than 4000 American families who lost their loved ones and to the tens of thousands of gravely injured troops, who were sent to Iraq because his fraudulent speech to the U.N gave the war a legitimacy it didn't have prior to his speech. He of course apologize to the families of the untold number of dead and injured Iraqis.

Her parallel universe

The most important thing for Hillary now is to be able to go through the rest of her life proclaiming that she never lost the 2008 Democratic nomination, but was "pushed out". See, it was everybody else's fault- Obama, the rules committee, the DNC, Reid and Pelosi, who pushed her out of the race when she was winning it. She may never end her campaign. For all I know, she's be campaigning during Obama's inauguration and beyond, or running on a 3rd party ticket in November, but you know damn well that she will never admit she has lost the Democratic nomination since she was illegitimately prevented from becoming the nominee by dark anti-Clinton, anti-women forces.

Just when you thought

that Ferraro has crawled back under the rock from which she she came, she's seems to have slithered back into the limelight with another load of garbage. Apparently, for a BBQ racist like Ferraro, all the Clinton primary voters in states like W.Virginia, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Ohio and many others who admitted they could never vote for a black candidate because they just don't like black people is not racism, but not voting for Hillary because of her Iraq war authorization vote and her general support of neoconservative militaristic and imperialistic foreign policy is sexism.
