not as an advanced country anymore. An economic and military super-power, sure, but also as a largely backward society with pockets of progressive modernity. We are perceived, and rightly so, as a war mongering and imperialistic country, out to force our will on the rest of the world and capture its natural resources. If this perception is not changed, and rapidly, by a new administration with radically new policies, we will become the world's renegades and the political and economic consequences to our nation will be catastrophic. Many West Virginians, among others, due to their isolation and ignorance, are unaware of it and continue to vote their ignorance.

Of course not every person who doesn't vote for Obama is racist and no one ever claimed such an absurdity. Many don't vote for Obama because they think he's too inexperienced, because Clinton(or McCain in the general) have more experience or knowledge of the way government works and that is totally legitimate. We are talking about people who will not vote for Obama under any circumstances just because he's black. We talk about people whose lives have been ruined by the Republicans awful and immoral economic and social policies but who dutifully will vote for a Republican only because the Democratic candidate is black.

who is a pretentious lightweight, but she's right on the money on this one. Hillary will never concede. She will be campaigning on the day Obama is sworn in as President, screaming that the campaign isn't over and that she's going to be the nominee.

If Obama had won the white trash bozo vote, I would be concerned. Losing the white trash vote means a candidate has gravitas and isn't pandering to people still stuck in the dark ages.

The Clintons are physically incapable of admitting defeat. Any expectations that she will concede at some point are hallucinatory. She is NOT getting out of the race, not after the last primary and not after Obama becomes the presumptive nominee after June 3rd. She will take it to the convention, and when Obama is officially declared the Democratic nominee for President in Denver, she will announce a 3rd party tun.

According to Clinton fanatics, there must be millions of Democratic primary voters made of Dark Matter that cannot be detected. They don't want Obama, but somehow their vote cannot be detected and registered, and this is the reason why Obama has accumulated more votes and more delegates than Clinton. According to their logic, we just don't have the technology to detect them, or Clinton would already be the nominee, since according to them, most Democrats "don't want Obama", although more of them have been voting for him than Hillary. I suggest they contact Stephen Hawking, who is one of the world's great experts on Black Holes and Dark Matter, he might be able to help.

If the primaries were held again, some of the big states that Obama lost would be won by him now, most notably California. He would do much better with Hispanics, just for starters. The only demographics he hasn't improved with are uneducated, often racist whites. Even if Clinton were the nominee, this particular demographics would vote for McCain by a roughly similar margin to the one they would vote in if Obama is the nominee. The reason-the GOP appeals to their lizard brain, and other parts of their brain don't function.

In any other western parliamentary system, the GOP would be nearly decimated and lose half or two thirds of their representation with a similar record. The fact that in the US, the GOP has a decent chance of keeping the presidency is astonishing and has people around the world totally puzzled at out system. It is a proof that after 232 years of independence, our system of government and elections doesn't work anymore and needs fundamental change.

Mark Penn, the chief strategist of the Clinton campaign who is still owed 4 million dollars, had thought until March(!!1) that it was a winner take all primary system and was so certain that Clinton would be the nominee by ST, that he spent all their money by February. When your chief strategist doesn't even know the most basic rules of the game, how can you expect to win and more importantly, be a functional president. Imagine the chaos of a Hillary Clinton administration. She ran an awful campaign and lost it because she's an incompetent manager and leader. How in the world didn't she know that her chief strategist, friend and confidant, wasn't even aware that delegates would be awarded proportionally, unlike the general election? It's mind boggling. She lost it, on merit, no one took it away from her.

The Parker woman's moronic OpEd reminds me of a comment I overheard a few years ago while traveling in Europe. It came from an Israeli who had just heard of a suicide terror bombing in his country. He said to another Israeli companion that the casualty toll was eleven: "eight people and three Arabs".

Some would suggest that screwing the country like Enron or Exxon have done, is tantamount to treason, and they are all native born. Let me remind you that Obama was born in the USA, he's not an immigrant. To question his patriotism because his father was born in Africa is as racist as it gets.

The floodgates to the racist comments about Obama's "difference" from "blue-blooded" Americans actually started right after Hillary's infamous comments on 60 minutes-"Of course Senator Obama is not a Muslim...as far as I know".

The repulsive right wing took her words as a license to start an all out attack on Obama and his allegiance to the US.
