Hillary Clinton had been a Goldwater Republican, volunteered for him in 1964 and remained a Republican until she was about 21. 16 years ago, when I first heard of her and found out she had been on the board of Walmart, I found it hard to believe she was anything but a corporatist disguised as a Democrat for her own selfish ambitions. Nothing she has done since has convinced me that she wasn't a wolf in sheep's clothing. I have very little doubt that she would rather destroy the Democratic party than accept Obama as the party's nominee. I got an email from a friend who works for one of my senators(damn) Dianne Feinsten, and she told me that on the Wednesday conversation Feinstein had with Clinton, one of Feinstein's conditions to allow Clinton to continue her campaign was that she run a positive campaign from now through June 3rd with no attacks on Obama. However, Clinton has been attacking Obama in ads and speeches since her conversation with Feinstein, violating her promise not to and angering Feinstein. Make no mistake, she will run as a 3rd party candidate if she can't get the nomination, and she'll do anything she can to destroy the Democratic party unless she's handed the nomination.

The demographics she is supposedly doing so well with, uneducated white voters, is the most unreliable demographics as far as the Democratic party is concerned. For almost 30 years, in any presidential election cycle they have voted for the Republican, regardless how ruinous he has been to their financial welfare. This group is fool's gold or sand disappearing through your fingers, choose your metaphor. Every 4 years the Democrats think they have it, and those people end voting republican by large margins. Even if Clinton steals the nomination, two thirds of them will vote for McBush.

You claim that Obama can't win without the white trash vote. Well, no Democrat has been getting that vote for the last 30 years. Remember, Bill Clinton lost that group by a wide margin, twice. Even if Clinton is the nominee, she will lose that group by a 2 to 1 margin to McBush. Wishful thinking will get you nowhere. Dukakis tried to appeal to that group with his tank photo-op, Kerry with his hunting gimmick, and it didn't work. The Republicans appeal to the white trash lizard brain by using code words like:guns, abortion, gays and terrorism. Obama is forming a new coalition that can win without the demographic that wouldn't vote for any Democrat anyway. See, it was easy, all you had to do was ask.

It's totally understandable why she wants someone else to pay her back the 11.5 million dollars she has loaned her campaign. Who the hell can live on 97 million dollars?

Apparently, obama indicated to Clinton that he was willing to solve the MI and FL matter by splitting the delegates 60/40 in her favor. Her counter-demand was, get this:100/0 in her favor. In other words, she gets all the delegates. This is a reminder to those believing that at some point, maybe after June 3rd, she will concede defeat or accept Obama's win, which is inevitable. She will not. Clinton is aiming to fracture the democratic party and run on a 3rd party ticket in November.

The GOP right wing, the group McBush has pulled out all stops in his attempts to gain their support and trust, denies even the existence of global warming. Moreover, they are strongly opposed to any attempt to get corporate America to curb emissions and to develop green technology that would eventually replace oil. The notion that McBush would ever seriously challenge his right wing and corporate America on global warming is laughable. This was a cynical attempt to put Oregon in play in the fall.

and admit that tens of millions of US citizens still live, mentally, emotionally and intellectually, in the Middle Ages. Many of them live in states like West Virginia. Why did they vote for Bush twice? Because of medieval backward non-issues like guns and "God". Racism is of course part of it-they wouldn't vote for a black candidate anymore than they would vote for a squirrel. You can't bring people out of the Dark Ages against their will- they must actually want to join modernity, and those people are not anywhere near that stage.

My dog was once kicked by a man who hates dogs. He never goes near that man again and whenever he sees that creep, his hatred for him is obvious, and he would no doubt go after him if I let him off leash. My dog is so much smarter than the West Virginia white trash who have been screwed by the various Republican presidents over and over and over again, but will always vote for a Republican for president, especially if the Democrat is African-American. Frankly, no demographics deserve to be screwed by the GOP more than the white trash who elect them.

I once drove through a southern state on a cross country drive and got into a conversation with a white man in a gas station while my car was being repaired. I asked him if he could ever vote for a black candidate for president. His answer:" I'm not a racist, but I would never vote for a n....r."

The fact that Clinton claims she should be the nominee because of her appeal to that particular dempgraphics should be her main disqualification, although she has many.
