Feeding the GOP trolls

TexasGirl, ShawnWhiteMale, CateTex and a few others are nothing but obvious Republican trolls on salon. They are attempting to create great bitterness among Hillary's supporters and show them that it's perfectly OK to vote for a third bush term by voting for John McBush in the fall, since they themselves, "good Democrats" that they are, would be voting for the patriotic McBush should the foreign, dark and anti-American Hussein Obama get the nomination. It's amazing that so many posters engage those GOP moles and help them do their job of electing McBush in November.

She's all that and much worse

She is willing to facilitate a third Bush term by paving the way for a McBush presidency so she can take him on in 2012 as the nation's savior. Nothing can be more immoral, since it will entail the death of many more US soldiers and Iraqi civilians and the total destruction of our economy. A person willing to do this for the sake of personal ambition is evil.

Remember the MSM attacks on Gore

During the 200 presidential campaign, the MSM kept blasting and mocking Gore for allegedly claiming that he "invented the Internet". Except, he never said anything that remotely resembling that. Actually, Gore said the absolute truth, which was that when he had served in the senate, he was the first legislator to recognized the potential of the Internet technology vis-a-vis commerce and education and suggest that the government invest in that technology. Even when the media, especially network reporters, were presented with Gore's actual, as opposed to MSM and Carl Rove manufactured quote, they just shrugged and kept repeating the "Gore claimed to have invented the Internet" mantra, which caused his great political damage and contributed to his narrow victory which the GOP managed to reverse with the help of the supreme court.

The MSM will make sure either Democrat loses to McCain

The MSM is so embedded in McCain's ass, it's indistinguishable from his colon. Notice how Bill Clinton is always mentioned by the media along with "infidelity", "extramarital sex", "habitual cheater on his wife", etc. McCain who has admitted to being unfaithful to his first wife before and after his captivity, admitted to having sex with other women days after returning from Vietnam and had begun the affair with his present wife while still married to another wman, is untouched by the MSM on these matters, just like he is on all his other screw ups, including the Keating Five, nmerous trips on corporate jets with lobbyists, etc. On the exremely rare occasion when his womanizing and infidelity are mentioned in the MSM, it's actually in a manner that makes him even more appealing to the average voter, you know, the true American cool, red blooded navy pilot whom women naturally just couldn't resist. If he were to be caught on video having sex with his adopted daughter, the MSM reaction would be:how lucky we are to have a candidate who is so virile, attractive and energetic at age 72, what a great commander in chief he would be, and since she isn't his biological daughter and Cindy doesn't mind, and since one woman is incapable of satisfying this stud, and since Woody Allen got away with it, it's his private business and has nothing to do with politics. How can any Democrat win against McCain when 99 percent of Americans get their news and information from the corporate media that is so madly infatuated with McCain?

Stop falling for the GOP trolls

like ShawnWhiteMale and TexasGirl. These are Limbaugh messenger boys and girls, attempting to get Clinton and Obama supporters so mad at each other that if their candidate doesn't become the nominee, they would either sit out the elections or vote McBush. You can tell a wingnut troll several ways, one of which is by who they identify as "far Left". In reality, there's no Left of any kind in the Democratic party. Even the most "progressive" US Democrats would still be considered as moderate Right anywhere else in the world. "Hard Left" or any other kind of "Left" in the Democratic party or anywhere else on the US political scene is like the Unicorn: a nonexistent fairy tale.

@-- Sherlock

Because McBush is an ultra chauvinist psychopath who is in love with war and militarism whom our moronic public will probably elect as the next president.

1984

It may not be official, but we have become a de-facto police state, where the mainstream media merely disseminates government propaganda. In some ways we are even more hopeless than other societies that have languished under authoritarian rule because due to the general apathy and ignorance of the population, the government isn't even worried about public opposition, so it still lets people let off steam and express their opinions, knowing full well that the MSM will not publish anything damning that would create a national scandal.

Deafening silence

Sunday's Washington Post features a front-page story examining the notorious temper of Sen. John McCain, including a first-hand account of McCain's physical altercation with fellow GOP Sen. Chuck Grassley. McCain has also been involved in a few other shoving and cursing episodes with other lawmakers. Will any network or cable show discuss this? Far as I know, none has and none will. McCain is a hothead, mercurial person, very likely mentally unbalanced, who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the white house. It's the mass media's duty to inform the public about his extremely serious shortcomings, but not only are they derelict in their duties, they are hopelessly in love with him.

@Derbig Mooser

The reason for the slow natural growth in Israel's Jewish population is that Jewish women don't believe in sex after marriage.

Following Lieberman

If Hillary Clinton doesn't get the nomination this year, and she won't, and realizes in about 3 years that she has little chance of becoming the 2004 nominee, she'll pull a Lieberman and end up in the GOP, as a corporatist neocon and backer of imperial wars all over the world. Only then will she be true to herself and come out of the neocon closet.
