You are an idiot, but I'll reply, once, since even a dunce deserves a drop of water, once. Right now, there's really no difference between the GOP and the National Socialist Party in Germany of the early 1930'o. The GOP in its present form is actively trying to dismantle parts portions of the US constitution-the legal foundation of our republic. Why would it be permissible to fight an invading enemy trying to destroy your country but not an internal one attempting to do just the same. The GOP in its present form is trying to turn the US into a tyrannical corporate medieval nation state. Why do some idiots think we should just allow them to do so is a mystery.
The only proper thing to do would be to outlaw it. Not because it has a different ideology-diverse opinions and ideologies are the bedrock and essence of a democracy. It's because the GOP is now dominated by people who hate the Constitution and are bent on violating and obliterating just about every principle on which our nation and system of government are based on. It runs the gamut of seriously attempting to turn us into a theocracy to a nearly successful attempt(it may still succeed if McCain is the next president) to turn us into a virtual monarchy/dictatorship under a unitarian president acting as a monarch/dictator who doesn't recognize any checks on his powers, to turning us into a deadly, militaristic empire, one of the founding framers greatest fears.
As a former sixties anarchist, I had realized many years ago that it's impossible to have a functioning society without rules and regulations that are respected and adhered to by EVERYBODY, even the rules and regulations you happen to hate. Remember the rules of an intersection with 4 stop signs? If drivers decided for themselves when to cross, disregarding the rules, that intersection would become a graveyard. FL&MI, for their own reasons, broke the DNC rules and deserved to be punished. Actually, their delegations were re-instituted because of political pressure. They got off very easy. The rage, genuine as well as phony of some Clinton supporters is totally misguided. Hillary agreed to campaign under the same rules all other candidates had agreed to and said so herself only a few months ago. No one's vote were taken away, rather, rule breakers who gave the finger to everybody else were rewarded on Saturday, so enough with the bullshit.
In the crazy USA, if one is not a far right fascist like Dick Cheney or Tom DeLay, for example, one is labeled a "communist". In a civilized area like Western Europe as well as other parts of the world, Obama and the whole Democratic party would be considered as right wing and the GOP as a bona-fide fascist party. Onama would be considered a moderate right wing politician and Hillary as less moderate right winger. There's no "left wing" in this country, let alone communists. The US is so far to the right, that moderate right wingers like Obama are labled as "communists" by the crazy ignoramuses.
who is a Republican troll, part of Limbaugh's Operation Chaos. He is nOT a Hillary supporter, he is merely a right wing troll trying, and unfortunately succeeding, in yanking chains and stirring up hostility and bitterness among supporters of both Clinton and Obama. Each time you engage this troll, you do hiswork for him(assuming he's a male). If you ignore this troll, he'll go away.
I'm anything but xenophobic. If a territory doesn't get to vote in the general, it makes no sense to let it vote in the primaries. Israel is in may ways the 51st U.S state and my guess is that more Israelis identify with and support the US than PR residents, yet the Israelis aren't allowed to participate in US elections. The notion of a territory voting in primaries yet not allowed to vote in the general is absurd. They should either vote in both or in neither.
PR residents don't even vote in the general. Why PR or Guam are included in the primaries is one of those really idiotic facts no one can give and an intelligent answer to because none exists. Obama didn't even bother to show up in PR. The Clinton campaign had been talking about 1.2 million voter showing up to votes in PR, of which they were going to get at least 800,000 and overtake Obama in the popular vote. less than one third of that number showed up. The Clinton family had practically camped up in PR. The Clintons are now on the grotesque phase. On Tuesday night, the SD must do the right thing and put them out of their misery, just like you would a dying dog in great pain.
If you help McCain get elected president because of anger at a DNC decision, you'd be condemning untold number of US troops and foreign civilians to death, possibly millions of people combined. You'd also be condemning many millions of Americans to unprecedented financial hardship and you'd probably be condemning our country to an economic depression. If you can do that just to satisfy your unhappiness with a rules and bylaws decision that didn't give you a 100 percent of the outcome you wanted, you must be an exceptionally demented individual who belongs among GOP voters.
Clinton's surrogates actually reflect who she really is. Her co-campaign chairperson in Florida, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, said in a TV interview last week(about the FL&MI matter) that rules "were not that important". This reflects her master (mistresses) mentality that she's entitled to the nomination, and if rules and agreements she had actually committed to uphold and respect stand in her way, she'll just ignore and disregard them. It's Hillary über alles.
