The MSM new world order

seems to be to brown-nose right wing politicians and create a fawning cult of ass-kissing adoration that would enable them to get elected. There are no real questions designed to elicit eral answers to eral issues, only Good Morning America style fluffy nonsense designed to make them look adorable, lovelable and electable. Even the Soviet media at the height of Commuinist orthodoxy didn't lay it on so thick as does our present day corporate so called media.

John King Dorothydixing John McCain

And who the hell can be certain that the questions King was asking McCain were not written by the McCain campaign? A genuine journalist wouldn't ask such pandering fluff of anyone even when drunk, not that King is a journalist of any kind.

Luckiest politician alive

If I weer John McCain I wouldn't bother to attend any more fundraiser. Why should he bother? The corporate press is promoting him with a zeal, free of charge. He doesn't need to pay a campaign manager or any staff members, possibly a speech writer and someone to rehearse with for the debates. With the MSM kissing his ass and promoting him non-stop, he can be the most rested, relaxed and free of money worries presidential candidate who ever lived.

What about hate seech that kills?

Restricting free speech is abhorrent to me, but look at two examples from Israel's history. There are at least two cases in which political murder was directly attributed to hate speech. Emil Gurnzweig was an Israeli Peace Now activist killed during a peace rally in Jerusalem on February 10, 1983. Grunzweig was killed when Yona Avrushmi lobbed a grenade into the crowd of demonstrators. The other case was the Rabin assassination by a right wing extremist. In both cases, witnesses who knew the murderers testified how incessant hate speech against Peace Now and against Rabin's signing of the Oslo agreement triggered the murders. Unfortunately, hate speech can have deadly consequences.

Al Gore to the rescue

I'm beginning to be convinced that neither of the current Democratic candidates is capable of winning the presidency, assuming that McCain is the Republican candidate. The Clinton campaign, with their non-stop bashing of Obama will cause many African-Americans, Independents and others to sit this one out. Hillary Clinton is driving her negatives, probably already too high to be elected, even higher. Al Gore, now a much more confident and articulate person than 8 years ago would beat any Republican. The future of the nation and world are too important to take a chance on 4-8 more year of a Republican in the WH. I believe that if enough Democratic leaders appeal to Gore, something could be worked out, otherwise, I fear the worst.

The McCain myth

John McCain has no experience in military strategic planning. As a Navy pilot during the Vietnam war, he obeyed orders to murder untold number of civilians from high above, without ever seeing his victims. He himself admitted that he should be considered a war criminal under international law. His capturers, who would have been fully justified in executing him as a war criminal, let him live. He wasn't treated any harsher than the Guantanamo or Abu Grhaib detainees. He is not an honorable or particularly courageous man and never has been-he is an ultra-chauvinist war monger.

Only a withrawal would improve the situation

The ethnic cleansing of Iraq has been almost completed under US occupation. Under US occupation, foreign fighters who had never been allowed in Iraq prior to the illegal invasion, managed to infiltrate in. The presence of US troops in Iraq has created a huge recruitment bonanza for jihadist groups. Iran's stature and influence in the region has been greatly enhanced, our military is stretched to the limit and beyond and our national debt has skyrocketed, since foreign investors are paying for a war we cannot finance otherwise. Yep, anybody who supports our staying in Iraq is a moron, and since war mongering is a form of necrophilia, an bloody deviant as well.

Time to get rid of debates

Since they are absurd political theater with never even one nanosecond of sincerity. Everything about them, including the candidates facial expressions, gestures, tone of voice and eye movements are fake and contrived. Nothing a candidate says during a debate has any bearing over what he/she would do when president. Moreover, often, the debate moderator have their own agenda and ask dumb and misleading questions designed to hurt candidates they, or their corporate masters don't like.Voters, especially in this age of easy access to information, should research candidates background and record, something that would provide a far more accurate reading on a candidate, instead of watching this nonsense.

The king has no cloths

When you do something badly for over 20 years, you just become more bad at it than a newcomer. King vis-a-vis McCain is like the husband whose wife cheats on him daily, but the more she cheats, the more loving, adoring and affectionate he becomes. The only anger he can generate is aimed at those questioning his adoration for his dishonest, cheating wife.

The gospel of Prof. Tim Smith

Professer Timmie, so if you've been served rotten food in a restaurant, you cannot complain, because you didn't go to culinary school and never worked as a chef. If the surgeon removed your gall bladder instead of your appendix, don't dare to complain, since you never went to medical school. if..never mind, you moron.

The Holly criteria

If a journalism school degree result in pseudo journalists like John King, Joe Klein and their likes, we must do away with journalism departments. Klein, Blitzer or King wouldn't be able to ask a journalism worthy question if their life depended on it. The criteria for genuine journalism is the ability to research, follow and corroborate leads, ask tough questions, follow them up doggedly when an honest answer is not forthcoming, never chumming up, sucking up and exhibiting adulation and admiration for the politicians a journalist is interviewing. I don't have a journalism degree yet I know that stuff- village idiots like King obviously don't.
