Shitter the corporatist

Corporations never give up what they acquire by highly unethical and illegal means. Since Halliburton, Bechtel and Blackwater now own this war and own Iraq, Shitter, like the loyal corporate disciple he is, refuses to give Iraq up and is willing to stay in Iraq till the last drop(but not his) of American blood.

Serving Jesus of Crawford

Karen Hughes considers Bush to be Jesus in cowboy boots who was sent back into the material world by God to bring glory to the new promised land, the US of A. She thinks of herself as his humble apostle. This isn't a joke, Hughes thinks of Bush as Jesus the messiah. If anything, she considers any torture against enemies of the promised land(and probably includes the torture of liberals) to be doing the Lord's work. Asking her to renounce the Bush torture policy would be like asking a chassidic Jew to renounce Yom Kippur.

Thomas Garman

It's characters with the mindset of Thomas Garmen that manned the various SS units that enabled Heinrich Himmler to act out his twisted and horrific fantasies.

Elephant man in the crosshairs

"The angry left doesn't dream of Bin Laden in the crosshairs of Hellfire missile; the angry left fantasizes about a war crimes trial for Bush and Cheney."

Glad you mentioned that, EMan. It was george Bush who had Bin Laden in the crosshairs of the US military in Tora Bora and elected to let him escape. I guess Dubya believes that you don't fight your friends.

Why Blumenhtal wrote to Karen Hughes

Blumenthal is an extremely intelligent man and he knows damn well that of all the sociopaths surrounding Bush, she is by far the most delusional and frantically adoring apostle of a man she probably thinks of as Jesus Walker Bush. I think that Blumenthal is attempting to make a point that this paticular Bush appointee, who is supposed to defend the incredibly soiled reputation of our country around the world, is the worst possible choice for the job, a clear indication that this criminal regime doesn't care at all about our reputation in the world.

What bush has done to our country

is turn us into the 4rd reich, bringing death and misery to others for the sake of war profiteering, dark age religiosity and megalomania. this bastard and the sociopath bastards around him turned us into the most hated counrty in the world. we are hated even more than al qaeda and bush is more despised than his friend osama. karen hughes is just the most fucked up and stupid of those bastards.

A whole bunch of Cheneys

We now have a fairly large group of Cheneys, individuals and corporations who have realized astonishing wealth from war profiteering, while being involved in war crimes. It's inconceivable that they will just give up their power, especially since it's quite possible that they would end up facing war crime tribunals once they are out of power. This are true and deadly fascists-we know of Cheney and his possy, but there are many others, faceless and extremely dangerous and the thought of what they may be planning in order to stay in power should send chills down the spines of the rest of us.

It's a wonderful idea, but...

the republicans have turned stealing elections into an art form- you can learn the details in greg palast's wonderful and chilling book'armed madhouse. as long as progressives don't learn how to neurtalized the republicans ability to steal every presidential election, even if we manage to abolish the electoral college, nothing will change, since they will steal any other kind of election.

of course, no one wants to talk about the real problem

abolishing the ec is an excellent idea, but the usa is an artificial country, even more than iraq, and it should be broken up into a number of sovereign countries. for example, the north eastern states would be one country. the midwest another, the deep south, the mountain states, california should definitely be an independent country and oregon and washington would form the cascade country. the usa is far too big, disjointed, incohesive and made up of too many people who have absolutely nothing in common with each other. progressives shouldn't subsidize dark-age creationists dancing with rattlesnakes and urban modern moderates shouldn't live in the same country with gun crazy racist militiamen. it seems like this country is moving toward some form of civil war, accelerated by the horrible 8 years of bush/cheney. i predict that in a few decades, the inevitable will happen, and the usa will begin to break up into 5-6 independent countries.

Heaven forbid !

Under that infamous left wing radical John Edwards, the USA might actually become a democratic, progressive, civilized country. Perish the thought..

WantonDestruction

Actually, the BillO audience uses words like "colored', 'orientals', 'japs', 'ruskies', 'hebrews', and of course, anybody who doesn't like their hero is a 'commie'.

The Republican slogan for the month of October

George Bush is not as bad as Adolph Eichmann.

Arafat and Bush

I guess we can't get any lower than that as a nation when compared to Bush, Arafat seems to have been a decent, peaceful and righteous man.

re:Why so Anonymous?

Absolutely anonymous, go back to school and you may even find out that the world is actually not flat.

Friday, October 12, 2007 02:42 PM

By the time Bush leaves the white house

at least half of the US public and 99 percent of people anywhere else will consider him to be worse than Stalin and on par with Hitler.

To paraphrase the great Samuel Johnson

Republican style "patriotism" is the last refuge of the asshole.

Perfect description of USA from anonymous soldier

"Therefore, I have come to the conclusion that about half of our populace are retarded and will consistently vote against any logical ideas that actually benefit them, and the other half are cowards for not flooding the Congress and the President with letters every week and demonstrating in the streets."

Nobody could have said it any better.
