Most of the geniuses who don't believe Obama was born in the US do believe that Jesus's mom conceived him without ever having sex, that Jesus was killed but became resurrected and that the cosmos was created in 6 days a few thousand years ago.

No country has such a high rate of astonishingly demented, ignorant and paranoid idiots. This explains the idiocy of the Obama birth certificate "issue", the fact that 46% of the voters voted for a ticket with Sarah Pailin on it and the fact that GWBush has been president for 8 years.

The Bush family is the domineering USA crime family. No member of that family should ever be allowed anywhere near a position of power and authority again, not even as a dog catcher.

Tel Aviv resembles hedonistic, outdoorsy cities like Rio, Barcelona and Miami more that it resembles any other city in Israel or in the Mediterranean. Gays and their lifestyle are accepted in Tel Aviv because its a very cosmopolitan place where many artists live and create, live music is played in pubs that never seem to close for the night and people believe in live and let live. Tel Aviv is a rather ugly and not very clean city, but the atmosphere of freedom to do anything and go anywhere 24 hours a day has created an open-mindness that actually made it into one of the great contemporary cities anywhere in the world.

I actually agree with Hitchens that Susan Rice would've been a better choice for Secretary of State, as would have Richard Holbrooke or John Kerry, but Hitchen's idiotic comments that Hillary is totally unsuited for State are nonsense. The man is so blinded by his hatred of anything Clinton that he makes an ass of himself each time he discusses them.

In the last 8 years, the US was ruled by a gang of gangsters. Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld were only marginally "better" than Hitler/Guering/Himmler and Pailin is an incarnation of Torquemada, only less worldly. Even if Obama doesn't turn out to be a Noam Chomsky, Barney Sanders hybrid, we progressive and the entire nation should breath a huge sigh of relief.

The "war on terror" has always been a neocon invention aimed at world domination and war profiteering. The notion that the only superpower and the mightiest nation in human history is threatened by a few hundred cave dwellers is grotesque, insulting and insane. Even more importantly, it's bizarre and absurd that we basically have two presidents and two administrations with no one in power for two more months. Why in the world must we wait two whole months for the president elect to assume power when the present president has no interest in doing his job anymore and the entire future of the nation is at stake? Two more months of this surreal impass mat very well drain the public of a few more trillion dollars and cause irreversible damage. This is far more serious than Pearl Harbor and 9/11 combined. The economic survival of this nation is at stake and the People and Congress are just going to sit on their hands and wait for two more months?

A good friend of mine is an extremely attractive woman who paid her way through college and medical school by modeling bathing suits and underwear. She once told me that although she should be able to wear whatever she feels like wearing in public, she has a simple rule. When she goes out to the mall, the supermarket, an outdoor concert, waking her dog, etc, she wears pants or walking shorts, depending on the weather. When she goes to the movies, restaurants, indoor concerts, parties, etc, she feels free to wear short skirts, short dresses, revealing blouses, etc. Her reasoning-why wear titillating cloths in crowded places in a society that has so many sexually obsessed and sexually repressed people? She knows that she should be able to wear whatever she wants to wear, but why take unnecessary risks? In her words:"I'd rather wear baggy jeans than get raped in the mall's parking lot because my mini skirt has driven some creep crazy."

This isn't directly related to upskirt shots. There many gorgeous women working out at the gym I go to daily. One of them in particular has a body that's so perfect, it seems like Michelangelo had sculpted it. Her face too stunningly beautiful and she's in terrific shape. I overheard some man mention that she used to be a world class volleyball player. She wears exercise outfits that cling to her perfect body in a way that leaves no doubts about the shape and contours of her breasts, crotch, buttocks, etc. She does not seem to flirt with anybody or behave in a manner that would entice men to approach her, and as far as I'm concerned she can wear(or not wear) anything she wishes to wear without having men perceive it as a sexual invitation. However, not being a woman, but a man who can't help but feel a strong sexual attraction for this stunning young woman, I wonder about the woman's way of thinking. Surely she is aware that being so astonishingly sexy, wearing what she's wearing to the gym, would arouse a great deal of sexual energy among straight men. Sexual energy in the wrong man can turn into something very ugly. Women should be able to wear whatever they want in a perfect world, but why take the chance?
