Original article: Four more days

Holding my breath

I'm turning blue, scared to breath, yesterday I walked around all day with a cloud overhead...could it be possible that Obama could lose...I can't think of the consequences for our country. It's going to be the longest four days in recent memory. Seeing the polls tighten has given me pause, the bright spot is I'm hoping that the youth will come through, I'm guessing they haven't been part of the polling since they tend toward using cell phones and the polls don't call those...if the youth come through en mass we'll be there...ironic huh given their history of not voting.

Obama voting

I'm sitting here watching at this very moment Barack Obama voting and I'm tearing up...both he and Michelle next to each other with their girls between them...I WANT to see this family in the White House. What a special moment. I am of the age to remember when an African American couldn't even stay in a hotel with whites and now this man, hopefully, is about to be President of the United States...it's overwhelming to me.

The anticipation is unbearable

I will feel so much better once the polls start to close and we get some solid results...the anticipation in brutal...excuse me while I take another swig of Melanta.

McCain's ahead in VA

It's still to early to call but Lordy Lordy, say it ain't so...I want Obama to take VA, it will ease my tum a bit. Right now it's 55% to 45% for McCain....gasp.

Let's be honest

Hillary helped make Barack a stronger candidate by putting him through the ringer and he's the first to say it. Going into the general election he was much tougher than if he hadn't battled Hillary.

Funny I was always a huge fan of Bill's and not of Hillary but after this election my feelings have reversed...now I think more of Hillary. Though I still think she hung on too long in the primary.

Original article: The buck stops where?

Is it January 20, 2009 yet?

I will never forgive Nancy Pelosi for her statement when she became Speaker not to pursue impeachment of this lame excuse for a President. It's bad enough he was elected in the first place but how did he get elected the second time...if ever there was a President deserving impeachment it was "W". In fact, not only impeachment, but he and his triad of evil should also be brought up on war crimes. They used to call Reagan the Teflon President, news flash, we have a new winner. How is it that NOTHING sticks to this man...under his eight years of rule, our country has fallen into total disrepair, heading for rack and ruin, he has taken(lied)us into war (needlessly) and thrown our economy into the biggest downturn second only to the Great Depression...along the way, flipping the bird at the Constitution and all it stands for...and to top it off he is totally unrepentant (how do we teach our children to take responsibility for their actions when the POTUS is the supreme role model for irresponsibility)...what exactly does it take...if only he had bopped an intern in the Oval Office.
