Broadsheet should be taken out behind the barn and shot...

Of course it was a woman defaming Cohen. In what fantasy world are men more psychologically(rather than physically) cruel to women than other women? Talk about the best kept gender secret.

Reading Broadsheet is like having someone vomit in my brain. Seriously, throw in the towel.

If you must continue to write meaningless garbage, how about giving us a moral expose on that Jenkins/Fiore dramedy -- "Mongoloid C-Grade Porn-Star Killed By Cretin C-Grade 'Real-Estate-Tycoon' Douchebag, world yawns due to soul-crushing obviousness and cathartic release, reality T.V. dims the lights for a week. Skanks still lining up for chance to catch their own fake-millionaire-douchebag..."

Blech...

The Mighty Boosh are some of the funniest cats I have seen in ages...

@red_gti2000

I truly hope your sentiments are bluster and posturing -- which is fine by me, we deserve to express our disappointment -- however, no matter how much I disagreed with the previous administration's behavior, I never hoped to exact revenge on my fellow Americans. I hope you will reconsider your wish -- as someone else said, especially on this rather special day.

We too easily lose sight of what we have in common when we focus on the little things that make us different. When we hold on too tight to those little things, we resort to mischaracterizing the little things other's believe. Look past the petty and insignificant and embrace what we share.

There is a difference between being concerned and being negative, e.g., after initially supporting war in Iraq because of the 'presented facts on the ground', I became 'concerned' that it was not the right thing to do and not in our best interests. I never became negative and hoped we would fail or suffer more loss of American lives to show how wrong-headed that misadventure has been.

For all of the economy's troubles -- the result of more than a decade of slow fundamental decline -- I dearly hope, for all American's sake, a recovery and not a cold dish of revenge.

Just extending an open hand...

So sad, so human...

Why do people - R and D alike - torment themselves, holding up false 'moral' beliefs, in the face of such genuine human emotion. If only everyone allowed themselves to find their 'Maria' - or Mario - might the world not be a happier place?

Didn't read the article, but...

Gary Weiss is a discredited 'financial shill' and proven 'sock-puppeter' on Wikipedia... and that is just the beginning.

Original article: Big fat controversy

Since when am I expected to 'share' my seat...

Marc --

What kindergarten were you in that you didn't get 'sharing'?

I don't care to get involved in your pissing match with Zepgirl -- honestly, you both seem like argumentative idiots to me...

I have no problem with overweight folks, don't want them banned from the plane or segregated into 'the bigger seat section.' I don't want to belittle them or tell them to lose weight, because I don't assume it is easy to do so. I just don't see how your argument that we should all 'share' our seats as making any sense. If I pay for a seat, I am paying for that space. It doesn't make any sense that I should 'share' some of my space to accommodate someone who doesn't fit into their seat. If I bring an extra bag on the plane, I pay more. If someone is obese, they should pay more too, be it purchasing a second seat, or moving up to business class.

Politeness on an airplane is handing a soda to the passenger in the window seat. It is graciously getting out of the way when someone needs to go to the restroom. It is shutting your kids up and keeping them from running loose around the cabin. It is not lifting up the armrest so another passenger can make the small space I purchased even smaller.

That is a ridiculous proposition.

I won't argue that in some fantasy world seats shouldn't be bigger for all us plebs, but that is not the same as saying I should suck it up, be a 'better person' and take it in the arse.

And by the way, your Midol dig *was* a give away that you are a douchebag and, no, you do not have a talent for sarcasm...
