Mental health problem or blind ambition

I would like to have a psychologist examine Palin’s behavior. Something just doesn’t seem right to me. Does she have a mental health problem, for instance delusions of grandeur, or is she simply so ambitious that she is can’t hide it.

Some things worth thinking about.

1. She fired those who she felt did not totally supported her as mayor of Wasilla and asked for loyalty oaths from fellow citizens of a very small town.

2. When she was Governor she alarmed the state lawmakers The legislature initiated a bipartisan examination into whether she had abused her power before she was picked for McCain’s Vp . She let McCain operatives take over the Alaskan governorship and try to stop the investigation.

3. As governor she decided that she did not need to go where the government was but stayed in her own home . This led to the legislators wearing buttons saying “Where is Sarah”.

4. She referred to the Palin-McCain campaign instead of the McCain-Palin ticket, as if she were the head of the ticket, in a campaign speech .

5. She publicly criticized the McCain strategy of pulling out of Michigan saying that she and Todd should be sent up there to campaign.

6-13. Hannity of Fox news -On if she’s spoken to McCain about her role in a McCain administration. “Sure have. I’m very excited about the role that I will play as his partner.

I will focus on energy independence And on reforming overall Washington And on tax cuts for Americans And on reigning in spending. Also I also will focus on helping families with special needs children And on and strengthening the National Institute for Health,

And on finding cures for presently incurable diseases.”

Even Hannity asked her “have you talked to McCain about this?”

14. In the VP Debate with Biden she announced that she would not follow the rules of the debate but would talk about what SHE feels the people want to hear.

15. She occasionally goes off into an alternative world where her sentences are not coherent making an honest Alaskan she was debating in her run for governor remark “I don’t understand a word you just said.” We saw this tendency in some of the interviews. The campaign is now keeping her from interviews where there will be a follow-up not just a recitation of memorized talking points.

So sad

It is likely that McCain is being totally political. He said that he is not campaigning, including pulling all his political ads yet this morning I had to endure one of the most negative hateful ads against Obama on TV that ended with "I am McCain and I approve this ad". Last week he believed that the economy was strong and went blithly along with his deregulation mantra. (Even I sitting up here in Northern MN could tell there was something very wrong. I can't imagine where he has been the last months) Now he tries to make a grand Theatrical stand and cancel the debate which would only take a couple of hours of his time but make a big difference to us peons out here who want to hear what the candidates plan for the future. COUNTRY FIRST? Not for McCain. He is all winning first. We the people need to have the two candidates together talking about the same thing so we can make a decision. If he is president he will have to handle many things at one time. Is he demonstrating that he is just too old to handle the job?

OH MY!!

I am a small town female. (less than 10,000) We heat with wood in our house and so I own and use my own chain saw. I have skinned a bear and plucked porcupine quills off a dead porcupine to make Objiway basket decorations. I live in Northern MN so we brave the cold. ( We are often colder than Anchorage) I also have been chairperson and member of several community organizations and government entities. (I am not qualified to become governor nor VP because of that) I must tell you that I was shocked to hear that Sarah fired people in her own community and replaced them with her friends when she was mayor. In our town we work together even if we do not agree with each other. And believe me there are disagreements. I thought that was one of the virtues of a small town, you get to know one another and learn how to work together. And demanding that they sign a loyalty Oath when she was mayor. Give me a break. We are talking small town politics not CIA. I was ever more dismayed to learn that Sarah was a christian woman who acted this way. I immediately felt glad that Sarah was not from our town to instill hard feelings and bitterness over issues that can be worked out together. I am not going to vote for her because we need a person who has shown that they are willing to work with people and not just "fire" them at will if they disagree with them in the VP position. Obama seems like a person who has worked with all types and is willing to try to find a solution, not just run over the person that may disagree with him. It is time for a positive change.
