As someone that's been involved in unions for 20 years, (having been a member of the UAW, of UNITE-HERE, & of the OPEIU), you are obviously totally clueless about where union dues go, (& I have a feeling totally clueless about most other union aspects).

FACT-Union dues are a total of two hours of your regular weekly wages taken out each month.

FACT-Three quarters of your union dues go directly to you local union, to be used as the members vote on.

FACT-The other quarter that goes to the International is divided up to pay for lawyers, organizers, & yes officers of the International. Every union willingly provides a breakdown of where your dues go.

All of the anti union comments I've read sickens me. If you're stupid enough to fight a group that WILL help you, then you don't deserve to even be an American worker. Go live under a bridge somewhere & starve to death while upholding big business.

If it is indeed a "felony terrorist charge" where you live, you likely have the good neocons in charge of this country to thank for that. They're the ones, after all, that have fanned the flames of terror since 9/11, leading us into such a wonderful war with their factual information, raising the terror level "threat" every time they want to prop up their beliefs or otherwise distract the denizens of the country from what they are actually doing.

mcb1025-Unlike many liberals, I am one that not only despises conservatives & every slime filled, hypocritical lie, allegation & slander they perpetuate; if I had my way, they would be given a choice of moving to their own country, (you can have Texas as a country, without any of the profits from Texas), or being hunted down like the rabid dogs that they are.

I have zero tolerance or use for any conservative & wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire, or to put it this way, I am trained in first aid & CPR, & if I saw a known conservative nedding medical attention, I would walk away & let them die. Conservatives deserve no more than that.

I was born & lived many years in North Carolina & currently live in Iowa, & I can tell you beyond the shadow of a doubt that these people that are staunchly conservative Republicans raise their children to be just as bigoted & hate filled as they are, against any that are in some way "different" from them. Before Fred Thompson even announced his candidacy, my father-in-law was saying he was going to vote for him, because he was "what this country needed, since he was one of 'us'". Never mind that Thompson has no agenda, no plans to do anything, no vision of where to take this country beyond the quagmire we are in, that he's been a professional lobbyist that will only sell us futher down the road than W & his ilk have, he has a red pickup & says things like "hitch up our britches", & in one of the worst examples of hack acting appears "folksy" & "common". It worries me that the US is going to fall for another steaming load of bullshit like they did since 2000. If we do, then this country is finished, & beyond redemption.

I'm not your typical "liberal" in that I'm not PC, nor am I tolerant of outright stupid idiots that keep voting for people that ruin my country. I personally would be happy if every conservative & libertarian moron would just drop dead. I honestly have no use for any of them. Then perhaps we'd have the chance to properly rebuild our country.
