  • A big thank You!

Thank God you don't give up and stand for what journalism should stand for. I wanted to personally thank you and hope more writers will follow. If media begins to feel the public is craving for the truth, they might decide that's where the money is. Again thanks for your efforts!

  • Don't stop

Please keep on keepin on! This is the kind of relentless energy I would like to see the Democrats use. I think this is why I'm so excited to see someone turn the screws and make them admit what that did! This administration and their good buddies just want us all to take what ever they say and do, and shut up and leave them alone. That way they can get on with their all important business of making money. All you are doing is pointing out theirs lies. But like any liar, if you get caught, point the finger at someone else.

  • As I said keep on keepn on!

I just recently stumbled on to Salon & Glenn, so I don't know how long Glen has been putting up this battle for correct fact journalism. But I'm hooked. I've been so frustrated with the popular media and the democrats with out a backbone for what is right, I could scream! Let me not leave out the corrupt administration and insane neocons! Reading on how you (Glenn), persist and pursue these inaccuracies helps alleviate some of my frustrations. Keep it up, make them scrim!!!

  • On the subject of Giuliani

[Read the article: The NYT's Michael Cooper demonstrates what real reporting is]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

New York people spoke loud and clear when Giuliani offered to continue as their Mayor 911. NY City said thanks but no thanks! If they really thought highly of him during that crisis situation, it certainly would have been yes. Instead they chose a new Mayor and booted Giuliani out. It would be great to see main stream media do a little reporting on him in NY City. Not even the protesting by the NY Fire Dept and 911 families make the News. They are protesting and rightly so.

  • Please excuse us

This administration insists we overlook their simple mistakes. Yet they want us to completely trust whatever they do. They- are- the -deciders. I'm so confused??? Misplace tapes, leak CIA operatives, accidentally fly bombs over our countryside, State information that is not quite in the proper language, go to war on lies.......But let them make it very clear by repeating it over and over, they need to see this through! What do we know? He's the smart one; he's from the decider's office.

  • Who can pull us out of this mess?

I feel it's true; Dems & Republicans seem to be focus on the same thing. Power & money. So we in the public expecting them to make decisions for the people, or logic keep shaking our heads on how they could possible vote this way or that. We are not in their circles. We do not know where their loyalty & motives lye? This is what makes the upcoming election so confusing. My personal thoughts are, any candidate the media is putting out there as the front runner, is the worst. I'm going round and round on who would do best for us. Coming back to the conclusion, we will just have to settles, anything will be better than Bush! Of course this does not include any of the Republican Candidates. If any of them win we are doomed! I would love to hear who, and reasons on what Candidate Glenn is voting for. I realize this is probably something he can not do as a journalist. But I would value his insight.

  • nay nay na nay nay

It's more than I can bear listening to anyone involved with this administration. He is the President, who wouldn't believe he was telling us the truth. So when we all believed him that was our fault! This time the intelligence department didn't want to take the blame for incorrect information. So they made sure it got out. They did their job. And what happened, they got screwed again. King Bush Once again sets all of us lowly people straight with the help of Miss Dana to translate. Oh My God, I'm gonna snap!

  • AGAIN, why does this surprise us?????

More and more I am reminded of the old Soviet Union. The population with no rights, spoon feed what the government wants them to know and think. ETC..... Has anyone thought about what we as Americans will do if the person we least want and expect, becomes the new President? Will we gasp and shake our heads in disbelief? What will we need to do to make changes in this corrupt Government? They are obviously going along business as usual. They hold all the cards. They are in charge. We can write articles, complain, vote for the unlikely candidate, but in the end, they do as they please. Covering each others butt, and lining their own pockets. We may want to think what our next move will be? I have lost all faith that anyone holding a government position will do what is just and correct for the population. We are their puppets.

  • Yes, yes and yes

Everyone know the old saying, if anyone in government had to got to battle or send their kids, there would be no war. War is hell. Ask a Vet with PTS. Families are destroyed as well as property etc... It's senseless and a waste. The ironic thing is those in favor; say they are doing it in the name of good or God or anything to make the opposing side afraid to speak up, for fear of being marked a traitor. And yes this has happened over and over throughout history, so we don't learn from our mistakes. It's totally sickening and sad. So many hurt and destroyed for the wrong reasons.
