NO NO NO
[Read the article: What do you call a female cuckold?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]A cuckhold is someone intentionally being made fun of. There is zero point in making your husband cuckholded unless you intend to get him to catch you banging the cabana boy (or girl) in your marital bed. And then you laugh at him.
That's a cuckhold.
But if you're cheating on your wife (or beard) you never ever ever want to get in the position of accidentally on purpose getting caught. It's just bad form and legally harmful to you.
On the other hand, show me the hottest woman in the world and I'll show you some guy who's sick of banging her. So the feminine of cuckhold is 'future ex' or simply "that bitch".

What IS offensive
[Read the article: Burqini creator hearts "Opus"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Is the endless worrying about whether or not the merest hint of anything is indeed offensive. On Planet Eggshell: Muslims 1, Infidels 0.

Starbucks isn't free
[Read the article: A wireless touch-screen iPod. A video Nano. And a much cheaper iPhone]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]At least where I live you need a T-Mobile subscription. $9/day or $40/month for connectivity. If you think that's free, feel free to pay it for me.
I for one am not real impressed with a 16GB MP3 player for this price. Not when the 'classic' 160GB unit is the same price. It's not as if I intend to stuff it with all that content but the price differential is enormous. It's a matter of perceived value.
I feel like Apple is trickling out features a little at a time to intentionally piss people off. Are there removable batteries yet? Did they make the flash RAM iPod a little more durable perhaps water resistant yet?
I do like the rapid price cut on phones, that was a smart move. I only hope they don't do the obvious - stop making the lower end models, discount the hell out of them, work down the inventory and proceed with upscaling the line back to the original price point. If I wanted prices to NEVER EVER go down for 30 years I'd go out and by more Microsoft code. Thanks.

If my son's sons are outnumbered
[Read the article: It's a girl ... please]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]then they will be in high demand. either that or like today, the ever smaller population of boys are simply defective women, an anomaly to be corrected.

Ethics
[Read the article: Credit card companies swoop on subprime borrowers]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I think you misuse the word. 'Ethics' is not altruism or munificence. It is not what's best for the other party regardless. Otherwise what you call 'informed consent' in medical ethics would translate roughly to free health care with a guarantee. Which it does not.
I'm sorry you have a high carrying cost. But I am not empathetic about it nor do I see it as my responsibility to bear heavier carrying costs to make up for the people who can't. It's not insurance or risk rating pooling. Making me take on that load would be specifically UNethical.
Now having said that the problem of credit card companies simply pulling new numbers out of their ear whenever they feel like it is a different problem. It's a distortion of what we call a 'contract'. It is not a contract not in the strict sense. The other party appears to have little if any commitment or restriction on what they will do or force you to do. That's a problem. So is the notion of transparency - specifically the hiding or obscuring of critical information or blatant lying. That's a huge problem. But the basic issue of taking on debt in the first place, that's not my problem. I will let you be an alcoholic or a compulsive gambler or swell to 500lbs. Not my problem. Making it my problem would unethical, or, if you prefer, you'd have to let me solve 'our' problem MY way, which I think would be even worse for you.

Choice does not imply 'spoiled'
[Read the article: It's a girl ... please]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Any more than any other choice. That's projection, I'm sorry. If people chose to tip the balance in favor of one gender or another that's not materially different from choosing to have a given number of children in the first place. So unless you're willing to dictate some draconian rule of how many children one is 'entitled' to have then you have to butt out of these choices as well. You don't have to like it.
BTW after a generation of fighting off claims that boys are criminals, ADD, ADHD, OCD, Austistic and the lot can you actually blame people for being gun-shy? We've helped create a perfect storm where for the first time we can avoid the horrible problems brought to light by the post liberal feminist cant.

I didn't know what I was pleading guilty to?
[Read the article: The return of Larry Craig?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]That's why, sir you generally are supposed to have legal counsel advocating for you when you are charged with a crime. You did not. It either sucks to be you (in the non tapping sense), or you are the luckiest retard on the planet to wind up a SENATOR and not know this one basic fact.
As someone who has 'been around' the criminal justice system I can tell you that you can tell a defense lawyer anything and he/she will not flinch. They will never, well a good one, will never silently judge you.
PS: the best absolute best defense lawyer I ever knew, is going to jail for white collar crime.
