You keep acting
[Read the article: Bush's stairway to paradise]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]As if George Bush stepped out of a spaceship one day to govern us. He didn't we elected him and, the same people who voted, or more precisely, didn't vote, are going to elect which ever spaceship dweller graces us the next time too. It gets tedious when seemingly everyone is either shocked or outraged that things turn out any differently than they do. Over and over and over and over. What makes you think that Retardo-Americans are going to do a better job the next time? Hell, the Army still makes their own recruitment quotas. How crazy and dumb do you have to be? The only that shocks me anymore is that a million people a day don't accidentally take a bath in a deep fryer and cook themselves.

The kippah is not meant to restrict your behavior
[Read the article: The Mormons are coming]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]...Or your interactions with others. There's that difference. I would have to say that the niqab or chador are more akin to the Mormon garment.

What's so good about perfect health anyway?
[Read the article: Hillary Clinton's healthcare 2.0]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]All I see is a bunch of scared vain people spending 2/3rds of their lives sweating and micromanaging their diet and panicking if their blood chemistry changes 1% Guess what - we all die and so will you. You have to decide for yourself at which point your paranoia becomes a lifestyle choice.

It's fine, natural even
[Read the article: Kids gone wild]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Which is why soccermom America on both the left and right will scream and pout like children themselves about how evil and dangerous it is. Go ahead flame me.

First off
[Read the article: Taser nation]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I'd love to shock Chris Matthews but the gas bag of hydrogen that is his head would explode and kill innocent people. Oh the Huge Manatee!
Second, there's nothing political about it no matter how you precious blogging wimps want to pimp that. It's simple intolerance borne of BEING ABLE TO ZAP SOMEONE. No more no less. You give cops, even the non-asshole cops a taser and they will use it on everyone from a 6 year old to a 96 year old for pretty much any goddamn reason they want. And that pack of jackals you call people, even delicate flowers of the oh so liberal variety would happily shove one up someone's ass and drain the battery, just because.
You forget who you're dealing with. People. And who are we? Well we're the ones at the top of the food tree for the last million years. And it's not because of big brains or thumbs or females who don't go into heat. It's because of aggression and the unflinching desire to kill and eat all comers. There is nothing sweeter than drinking wine from the severed skulls of thine enemies and trampling their women and children under our horses hooves.

Why is it capitalist societies generally do a better job of treating their people than all the others
[Read the article: Katrina, 9/11 and disaster capitalism]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Don't take my word for it. Ask the French, Germans, Israelis, Argentines, South Koreans, Japanese, the Dutch, the Singaporeans and stack them up against Syria, Cuba, the other Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam, Angola, Zimbabwe, Egypt, Cuba, Turkmenistan, Mali.
In Iran a few years ago, an 8.0 earthquake killed more than 50,000 people. The reasons were: no building codes, no disaster recovery, no real interest in helping, poor roads, no reserve capacity limited medical care. California has experienced two earthquakes that large in the last 30 years over an area not only more populated but littered with buildings and people extremely densely. Total deaths, <60. In fact the worst natural disasters in the capitalist world typically represent 1% of the fatalities of those in the non capitalist world. 250k dead in the 2004 tsunami, 1 million dead in the 1970 Bangladesh typhoon, 350-500 Chinese miners killed this year alone. And so on.
So where's the disconnect?

what's really funny
[Read the article: Taser nation]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Is that this student's diatribe was no different than any random caller to any call in radio show be it Rush or Diane Rehm, when they on and on in some rambling half coherent mess that never gets around to asking a question. And yet we love that. We love it when people use a Q&A to drag out the old soapbox and fire up the bullhorn.

Actually the NATO proposal is more than a year old
[Read the article: Giuliani's proposal for endless Middle East wars on behalf of Israel ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]and it originally came FROM NATO and from the EU which sees it as a halfway measure between a closer relationship with Israel and maintaining it within the EU's 'Good Neighbour' policy of which Israel is one of about a dozen countries included today.
It's also seen as a counter balance between virtual non existence in the UN and something else. Non existence? Why yes. Israel, is the only member state that is not actually officially part of any other bloc of nations because the so called non aligned bloc or blocs of African, Middle eastern, Asian or Mediterranean states won't allow it in.
But at least it's not Taiwan. They're not even UN members at all. The PLO has a bigger official presence in the UN than does Taiwan.

Sorry I'm busy now
[Read the article: Giuliani's proposal for endless Middle East wars on behalf of Israel ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Much as I'd like to bow at the feet of your imperious demand. Because Google is too hard for you, I am busy now what with boiling children for Blood Matzah and controlling all media and banks. TTFN

I'm so sick of poverty as some kind of goddamned badge of honor
[Read the article: I resent my fiancé because he is rich]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]It's not where you're from, it's were you wind up.

When fascism comes to America
[Read the article: Dianne Feinstein, symbol of the worthless Beltway Democrat]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]It will come in the guise of populism borne of our own frustration with the Liberals and their broken promises. It always does.

Well then you made a bad choice
[Read the article: Opus]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The same thing was said of people who skipped college in the 80's to be runners on Wall St. Anyway, most teachers are PROCTORS don't let anyone fool you. For 5/6ths of what they do a monkey or a robot or a camcorder could do it.

Well I just heard him say there are no gay people in Iran
[Read the article: Turning Ahmadinejad into public enemy No. 1]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]So I guess that problem's been solved by his holy highness too.

Pakistan and India are not NPT signatories either
[Read the article: Mission accomplished -- for Iran]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Between the two of them best guess they have 300-500 warheads and have fought what, 7 wars so far. And in Pakistan even the government says they're not in control of about 20-25% of the country. But that's cool. As long as Jews don't have the means to avoid extinction we can all rest at night.

Ahh yes and only a few years ago
[Read the article: Columbia to be punished for hosting the new Hitler enemy]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The poet laureate of the UK came to Columbia and called for the mass murder of New York Jews living in the West Bank. The quote was "They should all be shot, all of them"
What about all things that black slavery did? I'm sure you stout defenders of the Liberal faith would have no problem if David Duke came to Columbia and was embraced by the community while he defended white rights, slavery and segregation.
After all, free speech is free speech, nigger.

Or maybe just software for the untrainable
[Read the article: Softer software for women]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]which is really what you're saying.
