  • Delegate Count

[Read the article: Clinton campaign: Forget what we said earlier]

    Delegate count

He hasn't lost any state if you look at how many delegates he's won in each election. Clinton is the one who has lost every election since Iowa according to delegate wins. Let's remember who votes for the candidate at the convention...

All the more reason Obama should withdraw and cede the nomination.

  • Not to let anything shady Obama may have done go...

[Read the article: Jury selection begins in Rezko trial]

But have we ever had a straight answer from either of the Clintons for the entire 1990s? Believe me, while they can plausably claim much of what was thrown at them didn't stick...it will be thrown again. So, in one respect, she is ready on day one...to again deny, distort and distract. The hypocracy of this is amazing to me...

Sure, ask the question about Obama. If its bad, it is best to know that and now. BUT, Hillary is no prestine candadate whose virginal persona has been burried by a biased press...indeed, if there is a press bias it is because the press was essentially lied to by the Clintons for years. Again, not to say that the Clinton scandals were real...but how they handled them...the lack of candor, the mud slinging, the ability to ignore appearance, the arrogance all helped keep it going...and she was a prime stratagist/advisor to Bill.

As I said, ready on day one.

  • Resignation when stupid...

And doing so quickly...It is what people with honor do.

Imply that McCain would be a more prepared president than her Democratic rival, having her hounds suggest that any questioning of her is like being Ken Starr.

That is how the clinton people operate.

Kind of a stark difference. Be transparent, take the hit. Move on. Circle the wagons, hunker down, employ Rovian logic and spew.

  • Penn is Shrumptastic

[Read the article: Obama can't win general election, Clinton advisor says]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Penn, who has mapped out Hillary's invincibility campaign, who has been expert at making sure that Hillary was the inevitable candidate that no Democrat would dare challenge and who, when the going got rough, tried to blame everyone but himself for a campaign of misteps, misunderstanding, sleaze and incompetence, now pronounces on the general election.

CLinton supporters: what is this guy still doing with your gal's campaign? He's not just been wrong, he's been dangerously wrong. What does it say about Hillary that he's still there -- remember, his strategy was to have it wrapped up after Super Tuesday.

He is there because he is the ultimate insider and the fact that he can keep his job even though he's been so off base and flat out wrong, says very bad things about Hillary and her "experience" as well as management skill (its funny too, because the Clinton's are so quick, usually, to throw old friends under the bus who cause them trouble or embarassment).

I'll vote for Hillary if I have to in the fall, but Penn is one reason to make me doubt that she can manage her own campaign, little less the country.

  • Don't buy the logic...

[Read the article: McCain worries al-Qaida will attack to keep him out of office]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

AlQeda attack would have the effect of giving Bush the "fear" ammunition he needs to get McCain into the White House. Attacks rally the people around the flag and the goverment. If we were attacked, Bush would Blame the Dems. So would McCain...for undercutting Bush's security efforts. McCain would also be able to hit home his rediculous talking point on the dangerous simplicity of Democrat policy. If anything, the reality is the reverse of what McCain is arguing and the factg that he doesn't see the realpolitic implications of an attack before the election means that he hasn't crossed Hillary's C&C threshold.

  • So...

[Read the article: Hillary Clinton, sniper fire and Sinbad]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

She took her teenage daughter into a combat zone where she was drawing sniper fire?

Also, shouldn't the head of the Secret Service be fired for allowing the first lady and her teenage daughter into a zone where sniper fire was not just possible but on-going?

Also, shouldn't the people at the State Department who set up the trip be fired for allowing the First Lady to enter into an active combat zone where sniper fire could be expected? Little less other extraneous, non-combatant civilians like commedians and singer?

There's no dishonor visiting the Balkans as a cvilian promoting good will and enhancing the troops moral. That is a noble and time honored mission. What should bother is the will to inflate that into something more, into a "Threshold" moment...whatever she means by that.

And, frankly, she should lose the vote of all mothers for taking her teenage daughter into a combat zone and unnecessarilly exposing her to such danger...if snipers were really active in the area and live exchanges were on-going.

  • The reason you know that Sinbad is telling the truth...

[Read the article: Hillary Clinton, sniper fire and Sinbad]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Is that he and Chelsey and Cheryl Crow were ont he trip. If there were sniper fire, they'd be pulling out the NYTimes coverage of the day from back then to back her up...and, again, what was she doing exposing her daughter to a combat situation, and why doens't the MSM ask her?

  • Dear TYGER&

[Read the article: Hillary Clinton, sniper fire and Sinbad]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Ok, I'm biased...but seriously, do you think she took her daughter into an active combat zone under sniper fire or the threat of sniper fire?

Is that the kind of leader you want? Someone who a) makes that story up or b) takes their teenager into a combat zone voluntarilly?

Seriously, how does this story say anything good about Hillary and her judgement? I'd really like to know the right spin on it?

  • So NWES...

[Read the article: Hillary Clinton, sniper fire and Sinbad]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Put aside Obama for a moment...what do you think of Hillary taking her teenager into a combat zone under sniper fire? Good idea? Good judgement? Bad memory, that we should let slip (though she's asserted it now more than once)?

Tell me, how does this story reflect well on Hillary and her judgement? Eiher she's making it up to create a credential or it suggests she's put her teenage daughter at risk for a not terribly important mission. Either way, it smells.

Seriously, analyze this for me, convincement that it reflects well on her, her experience and her judgement.

  • Its a misquote...

[Read the article: Cheney calls Iraq invasion a "successful endeavor"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I believe the VP said the Iraq invasion was a "suck-fest"...a very differnt meaning.
