Wouldn't you call an agreement between two governments a treaty? If I remember correctly, those need to be approved by the U.S. Senate. Think it will actually happen that way?
One thing I notice about this is that the wife isn't "required" to love their husbands. I think that's a more telling message than anything else. To them marriage isn't a partnership but two different one-way streets. If this is their concept of how a marriage is supposed to work, maybe the gays shouldn't want it so much...

A small section of the Tenderloin neighborhood does NOT the whole city make. Other than to take pictures none of this report leaves that small area.
His reporter seems to have stayed in a 4 square block area of a city that stretches 49 square miles. I mean, how the hell does anyone do a report on San Francisco and not go to Fisherman's Wharf - the top tourist area of the city? To quote Bugs Bunny, what a maroon.
Perhaps a hotel in that area was all that his show would spring for.
Ya know, using the whole gun imagery right by the very building where Harvey Milk and George Moscone were gunned down is not going to win you points in my book.
