Original article: In defense of ACORN

If a few ladies humoring white kids in costumes is so threatening..

... then texting underage boys, booty runs to Argentina on the tax payer dime, airport bathroom solicitations of gay sex, and of course actually visiting a prostitute as opposed to playing on in a student film should be enough to bring down the GOP. Oh wait, it did. The crackers just refuse to accept it, because their drug addicted entertainer leaders see a few more food stamps to be squeezed from their corn fed asses.

I laugh at these morons

Glenn Beck was once a horrible top 40 DJ, and was crap at it. He is a HUGE drug addict by his own admission, and also admits to being diagnosed ADHD, hence the manic and age inappropriate behavior. He is playing the people for fools, and it is hilarious to see how many follow him. He also converted to Mormonism, complete with its history of slaves in heaven, child brides and magic underwear, which in and of itself disqualifies him from any claim to legitimacy. He, like most of Fox's entertainers, are paid shills doing the bidding of Roger Ailes, which would be like today's reality stars tomorrow posing as financial experts on Bernie Madoff's financial channel.

If you believe Obama is a racist who hates white people, if you, like Beck, hate the families of the 9/11 victims, and if you believe underwear with a few odd drawings on them somehow protect you, you can be forgiven for your unpatriotic and treasonous behavior, because you, like he, are batshit nuts.

My Two Bullets Worth

My brother and I had tons of toy guns, army men, spy kits. Our dad fought in Viet Nam, and also took us out shooting real guns, pistols and rifles. We would also be served beer or wine with certain meals, or while fishing. In the end, it all lost out to Bruce Lee and kung Fu, and the thrill of high kicking hand to hand combat. Then that all gave way to music and rock bands. Kids are kids, parents are, whatever.

Original article: A party is not a movement

I guess the author doesn't follow the news that much

Obama campaigned that Iraq was the wrong war, Afghanistan the right war, since he would seem weak campaigning against all wars. His strategy is now to escalate to keep his word in being tough on America's enemies, then declare the situation stable, pay off the Taliban and get out with the oil pipeline still in our hands.

There has yet to be a single health care bill introduced for Congress to vote on. There have, however, been lots of lies put out by right-wing talk radio and TV, forcing the administration to answer questions, which can then be turned around and used against them. Repeatedly, one House member after another has said "No public option, no bill". Period. They are smart enough to know 'no public option, no re-election'. But that's not as dramatic as 'Obama caved'.

If you look at the loud grassroots organizations garnering the most attention, like the teabaggers, and town hall protesters, they are indeed well organized and heavily funded from giant buildings inside the beltway.

There is a debate in this country. One side says "we want all Americans to have great, affordable health care". The other says "Acorn's a-comin' fer ma gun!" The president would be a fool to get in the middle of that debate. He is much better off doing what he is doing, namely having congress write bills and make laws. If in the end, like after say a couple of years, as opposed to 9 months, he hasn't helped the country, then I'll worry.

At this point in W's first term, he was reading 'My Pet Goat' to a bunch of kids in a state where pet goats are illegal, while 18 Saudis flew planes into buildings. We re-elected him 'cuz he kept us safe, so I don't put a lot of faith in the sudden outrage about Obama's first 9 months.

Time to get my sign out!

I am heading to the next town hall with my gun and Obama=Hiter=Death Panels sign, and demand an end to government involvement in health care, and insist on a private option and even better, private take-over of health care. I demand that no government official get between me and my doctor. I like the 22 year old kid in the Indian call center between me and my doctor just fine. I also demand that if I get sick, my insurance company be able to drop me for any reason they want, to help the CEO get richer. It's capitalism, people! And for all you Socialist pigs out there, saying how a 3% tax increase on the wealthiest Americans could pay for it, I'll have you know I will fight to the death for real Americans like me to pay anywhere from 10% - 20% of our income in insurance premiums to insurance companies that also charge a co-pay and deductible. Did I mention they should get to drop me at any time? And tort reform! I demand to have my right to regress grievances against big companies to be taken away! Historically in states with tort reform, the cost of insurance has continued to climb, but I still want to make sure if my industry gets de-regulated so it can 'compete', and I get seriously injured, I need to know no one will be held accountable but me, so I can be fired, have my insurance canceled, and wind up a cripple on the street. THAT is what makes America great! Love it or leave it, Johnny Apple Red!
