  • oh boy!

[Read the article: Hillary vs. Obama: It's a drawl!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

More Camille! And a thousand great letters! Cammy, you are truly the puppetmaster. A few words from you and the site goes mad. Can you hear us from all the way out on Pluto?

  • "At this point"?

[Read the article: Hillary vs. Obama: It's a drawl!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

"At this point, it seems Bush's persona will never mature in office." Camille, are you in this actual time period? It seems pointless to cite just a few of your incredible statements, because there are simply so many. How can anyone imagine Newt as President, you ask? Have you SEEN who is there now? The "tragic" figure ... you know, the one who blew up frogs as a kid and now sleeps soundly at night while wounded soldiers wallow in their own piss at Walter Reed? And, liberals "have," for instance, NBC? Where Russert asked Laura shortly after 9-11, was it "divine providence" that put her husband in the White House? I just sputter in my head at your ridiculousness.

  • I smell something ...

[Read the article: McCain takes the press for a bumpy ride]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I think it's the aroma of a press pack ready to oil up McCain's genitals, again. Sorry, sir ... I couldn't give less of a shit about his 'courage' in facing his self-described 'base.' His positions suck, he's a warmonger, a giant phony and yeah, okay, an engaging guy. Have a beer with him. Don't foist him on us again.

  • Naderite dipshits, please shut up

[Read the article: MoveOn moves in with Pelosi]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Haven't you absolutists caused enough misery? YOU gave us Bush. YOU. Gore wasn't "pure" enough, I guess. And now this. Keep slamming the Democrats and working against them because they won't give you your cake and ice cream RIGHT NOW MOMMY! Hold your breath until you turn blue. But just go somewhere else and do it. Maybe inflate some huge Bush effigies and have a parade. But leave actual realistic progress to those who can achieve it. Unless you believe an actual deadline is worse than none, which is what your position would have achieved.

  • GOP's Salvation: We Run Hillary

[Read the article: How Bush helped the GOP commit suicide]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Talk of the GOP's death is premature, as they say ... especially if we go over the cliff with certain landslide loser Hillary. I scream in the void about this; surely SOME IN THIS PARTY WITH POWER can somehow prevent this from happening. First woman President ... Hillary Clinton ... hated by 50 percent of the voters going in ... disliked by her own party's base ... pro-war ... a woman ... and did I mention she's a woman, and this is America? WAKE UP DEMOCRATS! Want to win? Edwards-Webb.

  • 'pre-calculus'

[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

King, is that true or were you cracking wise ala Tom Brookshier/Louisville IQs?

  • Dear Ms. Mitchell-Ray:

[Read the article: The presidential dollar derby]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I respect your opinion. I am an Edwards supporter. While I know HRC has the museum-curator vote locked up, surely you must realize that half the country wouldn't vote for this woman if her opponent was Hitler. And out here in suburban Philadelphia, where even though the museums are sparse, the politics are trending blue, liberal women I work with simply do not like Hillary and are dreading the prospect that she is on the ticket. She will get absolutely crushed by anyone on the other side up to and including Gingrich. I am simply amazed that so many people can't see this. This is America, 2008 ... there will be no woman President just yet. And a black man? Yes, of course. That could happen. We as Democrats are on the verge of handing the White House to the party of Bush.

  • It will all change: Jan. 20, 2009

[Read the article: National journalists believe you should trust them]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

That afyternoon, the media will suddenly remember their job is to rip the White House to shreds over any lies or corruption. Provided a Democrat has just been sworn in.

  • Victoria?

[Read the article: To Damascus with Nancy Pelosi]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Someone wrote a really stupid letter and signed your name. To the actual author: would it have been better to make the visit with a middle finger extended? Not made it at all and let the Bushites continue their path to whatever new hell they are taking our country? What exactly is your "point"?

  • Captain Buzzkill

[Read the article: The American media's fringe ideological view of Pelosi's trip]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I love your stuff, Glenn, and you are always correct ... but isn't there ANY encouraging news on the media front? Even some proof that Americans know the Malveauxs and all the rest are completely full of shit? I guess the polls show it but I hope to hell this butt-kissing pack of stenographers doesn't prevail.

  • Don't worry, Gary

[Read the article: Iraq: Why the media failed]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The media will rediscover its spine on Jan. 20, 2009 ... if a Democrat is sworn in. I can almost hear them now: 'The Democrats made a big show of supposed GOP corruption, and now we learn that a Congressional aide actually accepted basketball tickets from a lobbyist.'

  • Anon no no no:

[Read the article: Iraq: Why the media failed]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Would that be the "toothless" press that went along with the blow-job impeachment of Bill Clinton? "What will we tell the children?", and all that? As long as no one can call them "liberal," the media think they are doing their job.

  • Gold, Jerry ... gold!

[Read the article: Real inconvenient truths]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

No "universal consensus among scientists about global warming" ... correct! About 250,000 say yes, 20 or 30 no ... and that ain't universal, dammit! If only more people were as careful with words as you, Pags. I don't know who scares me more: you or some of these "letter writers." My favorite is Hugh Greentree. "All of (Bush's) actions have been taken with appropriate attention to the procedural details." Well that's a relief to find out! Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you like the play?

  • gotta love the GOP

    [Read the article: Primary fears]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I hope to hell they all keep blathering about Bush's "leadership" and "personal qualities." It's just possible (although I put nothing past the voters) that the country has had enough of pathetic, petulant, aging frat boys; warmongers; corporate suck-jobs and religioso goobers.

  • hey Gwool:

[Read more letters about this article: Here]

You got that right ... of course it's 'hate speech.' That's because I hate the guy and all he is and all he stands for. It's a symptom of what we here in reality call a "brain."

  • Garry Owen:

[Read the article: No more whining excuses]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

    You said it, sir.

  • Don't blame Jack Bauer ...

[Read the article: From Norman Rockwell to Abu Ghraib]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Blame the idiots in the White House who think he's real. Hell, I enjoy the show and Bauer couldn't hurt me enough to vote for a Republican from President to dog catcher.
