Original article: Walter Cronkite dies

Now today's 'journalists' will mourn him

As they tell us we must never 'look backward' to investigate the Bush War Criminals they helped create. It promises to be pukeworthy.

Give us a break, Mike

Obama could have jumped through fiery hoops and it wouldn't have meant a thing. DC media types have their story -- you know, yours -- and until assholes like Baucus and Ross make the supreme sacrifice and offend their corporate masters, nothing the O-Man does will matter. He needs to channel some LBJ and tell these DINO towel-boy pissants they are politically dead if they don't do his bidding. This is kabuki bullshit, and nice to see you're not swallowing it. Oh, wait ...

@micki

How about this: a public option and close to universal coverage so insurance criminals have some actual competition. Yes, it might cut their profits back from the FOUR HUNDRED TWENTY EIGHT PERCENT INCREASE they made in the last ten years, but hey. Pretty simple really. Now you tell us all the GOP "plan." And "don't get sick" or "win the Lotto" doesn't count.

Sandler's fame ...

Is less easily explained than quantum physics. I realize comedy is subjective, but geezus. Rogen and Michael Cera are catching up, though. But as long as there are critics to assure us they are really funny, their careers go on.

'Honky'? Hey, Rush -- 1970 called

What an utter waste of much flesh.

What can one say? Elephantman? Anything?

How much utter idiocy does one country have to suffer before conservatisn is finally stamped out? What in God's name make ANYONE believe these people, on any subject, at any time?

@reader

We sure know how to get you mad: criticize that ridiculous dope Palin, your Idiot Goddess. Geezus, man. Hire a lookalike hooker and get it out of your system. The woman was plucked from deserved obscurity and is a national embarrassment. Open your eyes, for God's sake.

Thursday, August 6, 2009 09:30 PM

sure thing, bhill

'Better choices than we can.' More words without meaning. Or maybe you have found a way to beat the insurance companies who routinely, thousands of times ever day, 'make choices' for patients that their doctors should make. Are you a millionaire? Impervious to illness or injury? Awesome! Keep defending those corporations, chief. They are laughing at you.

Friday, August 7, 2009 07:31 PM

what say you readerreader?

Ready at long last to admit your crush is a stone lying fool idiot moron?

Ms. Paglia, you desperately need treatment

I laughed at your previous screeds; this one is from the depths of insanity. What color is the sky in your world? Seriously: that you can walk the streets is frightening to me.

@fuller: who might that be? Paglia?

She's no liberal. She's a crazy woman. Also, kindly jam your 'Queen Nancy.' My God I despise you soulless pieces of shit.

And Dear ReaderReader: I once semi-respected your views, sort of, occasionally. No more. Your sane tone doesn't match your absurd views. News flash: the word 'panel' doesn't necessarily mean the government wants to kill you! And please hire a Palin-lookalike hooker and get it out of your system. For God's sake, man ... it's becoming embarrassing. NO ONE with working brain cells can deny this woman is anything but a dimwitted grifter plucked from deserved obscurity and rocketing back toward it.

@TypicalBoss:

First, God help your employees.

My God, are you an idiot. Privatize Social Security? Okay. That would have worked really, really well. 'Little mice in San Fran Bay'? A lie. A blatant pile of absolute and utter bullshit.

As for the stimulus, Nobel Prize winning economist Paul Krugman credits it with creating a million jobs already, keeping the unemployment rate shitty instead of massively shitty, with more jobs on the way. Only 30 percent of it has been spent (gee, must be a lot more mice in San Fran Bay by now).

What will you wingers do when Obama beats whatever absurd dipshit the GOP coughs up in 2012, by about 15 points?

Original article: Obama's healthcare horror

Hello Drudgians!

My God you people are losers. Wow. Do you walk on your hands until you remember that's not how to do it? See you in 2012! Palin/Wurzelbacher! Newt/Huck! Mitt/Rush! And Obama wins by 20 points! Keep the comedy coming folks. And if you're older than 65? BOOGA BOOGA BOOGA DIE NOW GEEZERS!

The stupid -- it actually burns!

Wednesday, August 12, 2009 04:09 PM

@barad

And your point is? Reality: wingnuts oppose reform based on Obama hatred, stone ignorance and mendacity ... plus Obama hatred, stone ignorance and mendacity. Liberals favor it because it's the right thing to do and will help end a massive decades-long problem. Of course you could go the Alaska route (paging ReaderReader): Anchorage Daily News: "State programs intended to help disabled and elderly Alaskans with daily life -- taking a bath, eating dinner, getting to the bathroom -- are so poorly managed, the state cannot assure the health and well-being of the people they are supposed to serve, a new federal review found. No other state in the nation is under such a moratorium, according to a spokeswoman for the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. A particularly alarming finding concerns deaths of adults in the programs. In one 2 1/2 year stretch, 227 adults already getting services died while waiting for a nurse to reassess their needs. Another 27 died waiting for their initial assessment, to see if they qualified for help."

And Sarah the Grifter talks about 'death panels.'

Glenn, are you alright?

You wrote an entire post and didn't say Obama was a sellout suck-job. I'm worried about you.

Friday, September 11, 2009 09:19 AM

Thank you!

This is one (of the many) reasons why conservatives make me puke. These people, as you said, have ZERO empathy for their fellow humans until something happens to them. It's sickening. I hadn't heard about Cindy McCain's headaches. I only know my wife has been a migraine sufferer for years. I wonder what kind of hearing she would have gotten from Mrs. Beer Heiress and her mavericky husband had she ever spoken to them about federal headache money. I think we know the answer. And the examples go on and on.

Friday, September 11, 2009 09:23 AM

@orbitboy

You're a jackass. And a prime example of why the GOP sucks electoral ass now and will in the future. Dipshit. Dip a tea bag, you cracker asshole.
