Amazing, Cythera!

I was gonna pre-empt you by by name in my post and say I'm sure you'll disagree by posting some version of "Hillary will hit the terrorists with her rolling pin!" (I said it that way so you can call me sexist.) But I thought it would be rude to put words in your mouth ... and you beat me to it anyway!

to Anonymous on 'math not adding up'

NO ONE thinks Obama will win Nebraska or Alabama or Dakota or South Carolina. HERE'S THE POINT: the red state moderate votes he gets in those places mean he can attract the SAME KIND OF VOTES in Pennsylvania, Colorado, Virginia, Missouri ... where Democrats can win in the fall. Geez, man. Or lady. Nice strawman you got there, but again -- NO ONE is saying what you insist they are.

I once feared McCain...

But this guy is just sad. Obama will take 55 percent in the fall.

"Vote for me, America ...

"I am more accessible to the press." I'm willing to give McCain that issue.

Don't be bitter, Cythera

The best candidate is winning. By crushing margins. Constantly. BTW, Tangerine is just my cat's name. But thanks for wondering.

Please give it up, Hillary

You make me sick, quite honestly. And I've been a Democrat for decades. I can smell your desperation from here.

Solve this, Hillary

Today's Rasmussen national tracking poll: Obama 49, Clinton 37. This is the first time ever for this poll to show Obama with a double-digit lead. Rasmussen's general election match-ups show Obama to be clearly the stronger nominee against John McCain: Obama 46, McCain 42 ... McCain over Certain-Loser, 48-41. Please go away, Hillary. You bother us.

Original article: A supersize controversy

they should bak Obama, so we win in the fall

Why is this so tough to understand? Does anyone in the media notice that poll after poll, Obama kills McCain and McCain beats Clinton? Pennsylvania, Colorado, Wisconsin?

Wednesday, February 20, 2008 08:41 AM
Original article: How Obama won Wisconsin

Take a look at these Obama numbers ...

And tell me who has the greater appeal in the fall. These are the last ten contests:

Louisiana: +21

Nebraska: +36

Washington: +37

Maine: +19

Virgin Islands: +82

DC: +51

Maryland: +23

Virginia: +29

Wisconsin: +17

Hawaii: +52

Add these to the poll after poll that shows Obama over Mccain by 6-8-10 points in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Virginia, Colorado, Iowa. And Hillary LOSING to that mummified phony. Now please: can Joan Walsh stop wondering 'gee, which of our candidates can beat McCain?'

Give it up, Joan

Geez ... I love Salon and your stuff, but come on. Who gives a shit about this ancient non-story? Your gal Hillary is done for; come on board the O-Train to Winnerville. Okay that was geeky but still.

LeCastor:

"Obama has been conspicuously silent on topics such as the prison industrial complex, the Zionist occupation of Palestine, and the economic underdevelopment of Africa." Yes, these are winning issues for anyone .. on Neptune, perhaps. Here on our planet, anyone even mentioning this stuff in those terms would carry the black population of Berkeley, Calif., and nothing else. Come on. As for Samuelson, he's a GOP hack from way back. Bottom line: half the country hates Hillary Clinton and will NEVER vote for her. Obama will crush McCain in the fall. End of story. If you don't care, fine.

Wacky thought:

Maybe she loves the guy despite it all and wanted to be there. But where there are women writers needing to point fingers and judge, I guess it can't be. Walk a mile in someone's shoes? For suckers and bleeding hearts only.

And if I flap my arms and fly to Pluto

I will make history. But there's something less likely: Hillary winning this nomination. Did Joan Walsh make you write this?

Sunday, April 6, 2008 05:45 PM

Joan, we're begging you:

GIVE IT UP! Hillary is NOT going to be the nominee! Stop thrashing around for God's sake ... it's getting creepy.

Ms. Paglia:

I've made fun of your stuff here before (and I know you care deeply) but this time I'll only say, you answered all queries with grace. Certainly you're aware of the response your columns get here (we'll say 'mixed') so thank you for your graciousness.

Give us a break, Rebecca

Annie Oakley ... I'm sorry, Hillary ... doesn't have a genuine bone in her body. She has NO SHOT IN HELL at the nomination, and hasn't for a month, but still joins forces with McCain to bash Obama on a daily basis. She disgusts millions of loyal Democrats with every utterance. But yeah, you're right -- we don't like her because she's a woman. And boy are we fools being so strong for Obama. We should just be cool and whatever happens in the fall happens. After all, McCain isn't so bad! How can he be? HALF THE WOMEN IN THIS COUNTRY THINK HE IS PRO-CHOICE!!! If they paid as much attention to, you know, facts -- as they do to the supposed persecution of Hillary -- maybe they would know the real story. If HRC didn't have ovaries, the press would treat her continued presence in the race as the joke it has become.

Friday, April 18, 2008 09:10 PM

Yes! It will! It must! Right, Joan?

Joan, you are STILL at it! Have you missed the nationwide outcry that this "debate" was a disgusting joke at the expense of the voters and did nothing else but lower the country's opinion of the media, if such a thing is possible? NO ONE GIVES A SHIT about flag pins, sixties radicals and Jeremiah Fucking Wright outside of the Clinton "campaign." GIVE IT UP, we're begging you ... that goes for you and Hillary. But at least you're not acting like a goddamned Republican, but merely a disappointed supported with a huge megaphone the noise of which is really starting to grate. Did you see your candidate's latest? MoveOn and activists are bad?

Original article: She's in it to spin it

@shawnWM:

Iowa "buyer's remorse"? Check pollster.com, chief. Obama 46-42 over McCain; McCain 46-42 over that woman. Throw in Obama 47-40 over the old man in Pennsylvania ... where The Queen won the primary so she is better! She IS!!!

Sunday, June 1, 2008 06:28 PM
Original article: Viva Hillary Clinton!

I almost feel sorry for this woman

Almost. As a hard-working white American, I should. Don't, though. She is incapabale at the cellular level of speaking the truth. Spin is one thing. But 'the people have spoken' and 'I have won the popular vote' is simply too much, along with all that has preceded it. 'Count all the votes.' Sure thing, Hillary. Let's see ... you got 328,000 in Michigan; Obama, zero. Fidel Castro would be embarrassed at this kind of utter nonsense. Thank God this is the end.

NO ONE gives a shit

Rezko?? Are you a fugitive from TalkLeft.com? For God's sake, man.
