  • Kong

[Read the article: A bitch weighs in on "King Kong"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Perhaps ABB is CFOS. As in, completely full of ...

  • Please stop, Cindy

[Read the article: Cindy Sheehan, matriot]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Your loss was incalculable. But please stop ... you are becoming a bad stereotype with legs.

  • A thousand times yes

[Read the article: Molly Ivins on how lame Hillary Clinton is]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Is there a Democratic official who can stop the madness of a Hillary attempt at the nomination? Anyone? Do we WANT to lose 65-35 to whatever wingnut piece of garbage the GOP coughs up in 2008?

  • Yes, fine

[Read the article: King's lost dream]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Democrats should 'reach out'... hey, it's fun to be Charlie Brown while the Republicans play Lucy holding the football. Maybe we can all wear a giant neon 'kick me again' sign while we do this outreach. Sorry ... count me out. The lying murderous scum running this country should be called lying murderous scum.

  • Beltway nonsense, Mr. Shapiro

[Read the article: The war Lieberman didn't want]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Boo-hoo for Holy Joe. But tell it to the families of our 2,500 dead.

Lieberman voted to end debate on Alito, the only vote that mattered. It pains

me to see you accept the nonsense that he voted "against" him. Given the fact

that Alito was a sure thing without a filibuster, Lieberman's final vote was

meaningless, as bad as those "moderate" hand-wringing Republicans Chafee, Snowe

and Collins, who talk a good game then bow to their master Rove.

Apart from that issue, the liberal blogosphere "forgives" Byrd and others

because unlike Joe, they will never be found yukking it up with SEAN HANNITY,

for God's sake ... kissing that disgusting Bush ... being the FIRST SENATOR OF

EITHER PARTY to rise during the State of the Union as Bush lied about Iraq ...

going on Fox to tell the country what's wrong with ... the DEMOCRATS.

It's not about voting records. It's the fact this man simply doesn't fight for

the party, and often attacks it, furthering the GOP spin at every turn.

And let's not forget his "short ride" comment about hospitals, rape victims and

the morning-after pill. A short ride. How dare he utter such a thing.

  • Boo-hoo

    [Read the article: The scapegoat]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Everybody loved that phony Sosa, and he wasn't white. Yeah there are hundreds of assholes in baseball, but Bonds will be the only one pointing to heaven after more of his homers, as he passes Ruth and Aaron. Of course baseball was complicit ... but what's your point, really? The sport has to do something, show-trial or not, and maybe it will take some collateral damage in the process, which wouldn't be a bad thing. You're like the New York radio host, also a Giants fan, who recently blasted the authors for "making money off the book." What country is this again? And how much is Bonds hauling down this WEEK? About $250,000?

  • Stop .... just stop

[Read the article: Jon Stewart, John McCain and "Bullshit Town"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Come on Farhad -- McCain is a giant phony and you have been buried by a bullshit blizzard. Geezus, man.

  • Nonsense

    [Read the article: Party foul]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

A Republican is a Republican is a Republican. Chafee helps enables the GOP to keep a majority ... that's all that matters. These Republican "moderates" (Chafee, Snowe, Collins et al.) wring their hands and express deep "concern" about this issue or that, and when push comes to shove -- after Rove leaves the horse head in their beds -- they vote the party line. Linc voted to end debate on Alito, voted for Wehrum, and voted for Frist as majority leader. Who gives a shit that he drives a Prius?

  • Calm down

[Read the article: "Kingdom Coming: The Rise of Christian Nationalism"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Yeah these people are crackpots, but this very month Alabama Gov. Riley led Moore 64-20 in a GOP poll on the primary. That would be, again, 64-20. That's worse than hillary would do against McCain. So come on, Michelle ... do some basic research before you cry wolf. These whack-jobs scare me too, but given Bush's numbers these days, even this country has some sense left.

  • You "declined ..."

    [Read the article: Hurricane Al]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Nice call, Andrew. I hope to hell you didn't cast your vote for that egomaniac creep Nader in Florida or New Hampshire. Anyone who couldn't see the difference between Al Gore and some overgrown frat boy Republican from Texas had -- has -- a problem.

  • group sex?

[Read the article: Let's play group sex]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I just read the lyrics to that song. Please explain how it relates to 'group sex.' I must be missing something.

  • No mentioning hockey ...

[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

King's mentor David Stern will be displeased.

  • Terrible season

[Read the article: Much ado about nothing]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I loved last year (or whenever that was) ... and looked forward to this season. Did it start yet? Geezus ... just END it.

  • Can someone indict Leopold?

[Read the article: Could "Sealed v. Sealed" be a Rove indictment?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

... and just make him stop? Wasn't he going to "out" the "sources" that burned him last month on this?

  • Weldon

[Read the article: The GOP's Clorox bombshell]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

... is my Congressman. Santorum and Specter my Senators. Woe is me. Curt is SUCH a loon it almost defies description, but here on my rowhouse block, I'm pretty certain that 90 out of 100 don't know who he is; and seven of the ten will vote for him out of habit. I've given to Sestak and will try again and convince my hopeless neighbors that Republicans only give a shit about them every second November, but I'm not optimistic ... since my Kerry-Edward sign went up two years ago, they hide the children.
