"There's a danger that the two-party system will end, because the Republicans suck so much."
-- thaddeus2
I agree. Republicans are now splitting into the Party of No and the Sarah Palin and the Teabaggers. And both options suck donkey balls. So let the Republicans split and one can choke on the other.
"And parents, please try to remember that those of us who complain about crappy parenting we've witnessed are probably not talking about people like you -- unless you actually are one of the ones who would completely ignore your kid throwing herself into a display case or kicking a fellow passenger's seat for two hours. If you are one of those, then yes, my fruitless womb and I are judging you. And we'll stop being annoyed that your child acts like a child just as soon as you start acting like a grown-up."
The end of this article summed it up for me. Thank you, Kate! I admit that I'm on the fruitless womb team but Kate just summed up my view of screaming kids and their parents for me. I sympathize with parents who try hard and are self aware, but I will judge those who don't do anything and think I have to bow to their spawn (and sorry, I have better fights to fight like getting healthcare reform with public option passed). In the meantime, I am piling my I-Pod, getting Bose Noise proof headphones (the over $300 kind), getting 5 books, and I am ready to travel! Happy upcoming holiday travel everyone.
"Rape is OK if you harass your victim so much that she wants to drop charges"
This is pretty much the message I'm getting and I'm not really liking it. Seriously? Can any other crime be dropped the same way? When Polanski did that f**king shit he did, it was not only against the victim, it was a crime against the state. Hello? There is a reason why titles of cases are called "Asshole v. the State of whatever State."
They support the death penalty, they supported the war in Iraq, they want to kill gays and all muslims regardless of whether or not they have terrorist affliations, so can we please stop calling them "pro-life"?

I don't remember who said this (though I think it was the legendary George Carlin). There is a great quote that says that pro-lifers want to save babies so they can raise them to go against everyone who isn't them in the future. Another words everyone who isn't Sarah Palin or a f**king wing nut (you know, white, WASP, etc). I think the intelligent members of both Jezebel and Broadsheet do a better job of debunking this plant so I'll stick to making fun. Abby, you have crazy eyes and are a fat f**k. Please lose some weight. I don't think Jesus was that fat either.
Congratulations Chris Christie for being the new governor of NJ. And now you actually get to run this f**ked up state. Good luck, fat f**k.
I'm a Democrat who enthusiastically voted for Christie in New Jersey and will vote Republican for Senator and my liberal Democrat friends are finally beginning to see the light and plan to do so as well.

No, you're Republican. Just change parties.
Perhaps if you liberals were only trying to cover the uninsured, rather than embark on a grand experiment to completely overhaul everyone's healthcare just because the power pendulum has temporarily swung in your favor, people wouldn't be so pissed off.

FAIL. You just want healthcare the way it is, which is pretty f**ked up the way it is. I don't see any teabaggers or Republican s or any other wingnuts giving any alternatives besides bulls**t. So you are bitching, but not giving me any solutions. Automatic fail. Good try, but go back to work. F**ker.
I'm with other posters that you've summed it up very well. It knocks the wind out of me how much misinformation and paranoia these fools believe in. I don't remember the names of the old, white couple in the article, but I think it was the wife's name, Sherry, who said something that ERs can't reject you, and that's pretty much her whole solution on healthcare. That old couple can kiss my ass. I've recently moved to another region of the U.S. for a job opportunity. In all of the excitement, whenever I got sick, I went to my local ER because I didn't have time to look for a doctor. I can't tell you guys how much I hate it. Long lines, longer times filling out information, and it costs a damn good amount just for going in there. It was definitely over the $100 that my insurance plan says it is. Now, I finally have a personal physician who is easy to get a hold of, always on call, understanding, compassionate, and it only costs me a few some-odd dollars for a check-up. I will choose my doctor over the ER for medical concerns any day and will leave the ER to those who are truly in life and death situations. That old couple that Mike met make me sick and I hate being told that I would not understand health care reform because of my youth (I'm 29). I understand that healthcare reform is much better than the s**tbag system that's in now. I have no problems learning from the elderly, but when they swoon over the good old days, I realize that the good old days were f**ked up days. I wouldn't be able to vote, I wouldn't be allowed to marry outside my race, I would be stuck trying to find a husband and getting pregnant, I wouldn't be able to get a job, etc, etc. Sherry can go f**k herself and so can these teabaggers.
