No Fun Days for Anyone Connected to Bush

It's pretty assuring at this point that any public official connected to the current president is going to be unpopular and frowned upon. The tables have turned 180 and all of the sudden the majority of people who immensely supported W. are all turning away, denying support for him, or, in some cases, being voted out. Look at what happened during the special elections earlier this year. A Democrat actually got elected in the Hall of Representatives for Mississippi (which is a Republican state, of course)and other states considered "red". Based on the current state of affairs and the economy, it's not hard to see why people are very concerned and afraid of third term of Bush's way of running the government. Looks like the end of Bush's legacy is all downhill from here.

However, I do have to give W. a little bit of doubt. Even though a president can't truly fix the economy completely, because of his position and high public profile, people are going to blame him for it as he is only person they can truly pinpoint for the nation's problems.

An Interesting Note

AshleyMadison has been around for awhile and longer than people think. What I think it interesting was what one of the business executives for AshleyMadison said on the Howard Stern show. It was on a show and the site was sponsoring a contest involving married couples. He wished all of couples luck and happiness so they don't have to use the AshleyMadison site. I find it interesting that he distinguished between happy couples and couples who use the Ashley Madison site.

Original article: Nets confirm: It's Palin

Palin=Pawn

I'm sorry. This just stinks of desperation in my opinion. I supported Hillary and it's not going to be that easy to just make me vote for McCain just because he has a VP candidate whose a woman. Palin doesn't have what Hilary has at all and she does not stand for what I believe in either. Actually all of her core beliefs are the exact opposite of mine anyway. Sorry, Republicans. It's going to take a hell of a lot more for you guys to get my vote.

Thank you Bill!

I got tired to Republicans at the RNC who kept saying that Obama was elitist. Geez, a guy goes to the top law school and does well in life and all of a sudden "he's not one of us." They come off sounding jealous and bitter that they couldn't cut it at Harvard. I value education and admire people who work hard to excel at achieving knowledge and experience to get a degree. Sorry. Obama still gets my vote. I'd rather vote for him than a VP that jumped through 6 (!) colleges just to get one degree. I think that shows who is smart and who is not.

Inaccurate

I was listening to the Howard Stern show and he didn't want anything to do with that and that it wasn't his idea. He was going to go so far as flat out tell the the girl who is selling his virginity and her pimp to go home (he was complaining about it for a good part of the first hour). But it was booked and he decided to honor the booking. All he wanted to do was to interview her. That's it. It's really too easy to include Howard Stern's name to stuff like this girl. Frankly, I got bored with the interview and switched to another channel on my Sirius radio (AM/FM radio sucks). Interestingly enough, Stern's fans are complaining more about the immense political talk going on in his show currently and less naked girls. That doesn't sound too shock jock to me.

Huh?

I remember reading about this earlier and my first thought was "huh?" How will a 9/11 Commission figure out the devastation that happened on Wall Street this week? I couldn't connect the dots. We know who caused the destruction that happened on 9/11, but regarding the causes of how 3 of the big 5 investment firms in the country to collapse and go broke is definitely a more complex problem that doesn't have a one sentence answer. Reading all of the articles ever since Sunday from Wall St., it sounds like even the most intelligent and brightest minds in finance and business are still pulling their hair out about what happened. It's pathetic that McCain would resort to using the commission card when people are asking him for answers. Even more pathetic is when he would use 9/11 in his answer in order to use the tragedy for his own gain and just bundle up bad news into one answer.

I've tried to give McCain a chance and I've listen to his speeches, trying to understand his stance on issues. But this just continues to seal the deal with me to vote to Obama. Palin was definitely a smart move, but the more I think of her being VP of this country, the more I want to vomit in my mouth. Honestly, she is just another W. Bush, only with lipstick. McCain, keep up your lies and atrocious comments. It's making a lot of people over look Palin and see your mistakes head on. Mr. Obama, hit them where it hurts the most and have no mercy.

Original article: Was Palin's e-mail hacked?

Agh...

Somehow I'm not surprised by this the more I think about it. Sarah Palin is not the most technologically advanced politician in the US and clearly, it shows (she doesn't like science so I'm guessing technology is not on her priority level either). You just don't do any kind of business that is supposed to be confidential on an email account like Yahoo out of all places. Hello? Hackers can can get into many places nowadays. So the combination of being a high-profile person combined with easy to hack into accounts is going to equal a big mess. Her staff and her should know better.
