Many former Bush executives have a hard time finding work and the economy is still in the toilet. It's not a surprise that a former speechwriter would be writing a book on his experiences in the Bush Administration, especially with all of the tidbits he had under his belt. It was only a matter of time before it would happen. He's not the only one too. I expect a lot more books coming out of that administration in the future. People still need shelter, food, and clothing.

The GQ article was a very good read and I recommend others to it. I'm not sure if I'm willing to spend the money on the book. Though I have to admit, based on the article, it looks pretty good. Despite the stories Latimer is telling, I still don't feel sorry for him. He had the arrogance and foolish behavior I expected from him. He had that college frat-boy attitude I expected too. Definitely a displaced sense of reality surrounded him until the reality of the outside world pounded into his administration with the economic collapse. Neglect and abandonment of issues they were supposed to be watching and protecting went to hell at that point. No doubt they enjoyed the bliss they had before that. He reaped what he sowed and in the end, he did remake the Conservative movement to a degree which results in the Birthers, Deathers, Teabaggers, and people like Joe Wilson. Thus, making the Republican party and Conservative movement weak, loud, stupid, irrelevant, and contributing nothing constructive to the real world. He made them like he made himself. Nothing more than jokes.

I tried to watch him when he was on the Tonight Show and I changed the channel in a few minutes. He just wasn't funny to me at all. I prefer to watch the dramas instead of him any night. Now that he's had Limburger on, I'm really never going to change my TV to his show. Oh, and Leno steals his jokes and ideas from the Howard Stern show too. His writers are braindead.

I am amazed of the lack of coverage the media has given this "Take America..." whatever conference. Grandma Phyllis Schlafly was the bright spot for me calling Feminists the enemy of humanity. Frankly, both Edwards and Rielle are trash. He clearly violated his relationship with Elizabeth when she clearly needed his support and Rielle decided to get involved with a married man when she should know better. Also, her short films just suck (try watching them without getting bored). Elizabeth is better off without him, his mistress, and their wedding dreams of what they would do after she died.
