Thank you Thomas!

Your article was right on point for me. These lynch mobs are not representative of me and never will be. They are not symbols of public discourse and freedom of expression. Where were all of these people during the start of the Iraq War? That alone was a huge issue that "Brooks Brothers" protesters remained silent on. Not a peep and silence is worse than having any opinion at all. We also spent a pretty good amount of money on it (2 trillion and continuing) and these "Brooks Brothers" protesters are suddenly concerned about how much the country is spending? If they were really concerned, they would have been completely against the Iraq War if for money alone. Also, if these astroturfers were so concerned about Government access to civilian activities, where the hell were they when the Patriot Act, one of the worst abominations during Scrub's years. was put into effect? They are inconsistent, uninformed sheep who scream like children and they do not earn my respect. Screaming does nothing. I would have a tiny bit more attention to them if all of the elderly protesters at these lynch mobs weren't already on Medicare/Medicaid, a GOVERNMENT provided health insurance. That lack of knowledge just screams idiot.

I think Ijon Tichy said it best for me:

"It is a minority challenging Obama's Birth Certificate and disrupting town hall meetings. But it is a minority that has been duped for the past three decades into believing the GOP is the only true American political party which will protect their property (what little they have), their morals, religion (read Southern Baptists) and their country from the mongrel hordes. The Democratic Party is the Godless, immoral, gay marrying, property taking, high taxing, tyrant appeasing party that wants to enslave the white people and give their wealth and children to the lazy minorities."

"It's not about healthcare, illegal war, violation of our liberties, runaway deficits, banking corruption. None of that. It is only about a racist, nativist fear of the Democratic Party."

Original article: Gecko abandons Becko

Aw!

That little stack of money with the huge eyeballs is so cute. And it has intelligence as well! Good job, GEICO! ::thumbs up::

Sigh...

I don't like guns and tend to stay away from them. However, not everyone on the left is like me. Many have guns, believe it or not, and some have become so impatient with these right wingnuts that some would love to use them. This guy can exercise his 2nd amendment right all he wants, but a lot of people can do the same including the Secret Service. And usually when people battle the Secret Service, they tend to lose.

Loving it

Great interview, Andrew! I love the trailers and short clips of District 9 and my family is excited to see the movie. Interviewing Neill just sealed it for me and I can't wait to see the finished product.

Yes

If the Teabaggers have woken up...

Can we get a "death panel" to put them to sleep?

-- dlc3007

Yes, I approve of "death panels" for teabaggers because my brain goes dead every time I hear "logical" reasons why they are against healthcare reform...which turns into why they hate Obama and why they support birthers. Mike's interview of the senior citizen is something that just blows my mind. No wonder I heard "Oh for the f**k of s**t" when someone saw footage of these idiots these mornings. Thanks a lot Republicans for all of the ammo for 2012. Keep piling it on.

Original article: Oops, he did it again

Ha

I honestly don't have any constructive criticism (not that Limbaugh is worth any anyway) about this except nothing but offensive thoughts...and boy does that fat f**k bring them on. I don't think he's even thin enough to bend down for Obama. Why he is so concerned about his ass and Obama anyway? Actually, why is he so concerned about ass period? Oh good lord, the idea of Limbaugh and ass in the same subject matter is revolting. I'm off to meditate to cleanse my delicate mind.

Original article: What Orly Taitz believes

Oily Taint and Box of Crazy

I appreciate Gabriel's article on Orly Taitz and him attempting to try to understand this woman and her mission. Granted, I rolled my eyes a few times, shook my head, went to buy stuff at QVC, confirmed my hair appointment, went through my work email, all while trying to get through the entire article. There's no doubt the woman has a huge thorn on her side. What is it, who knows only but Orly. What she wants out of this, who knows either. The woman is clearly oblivious, has no sense of self-awareness, blocks anything that blocks her agenda, consumed with bigotry, stereotypes, conspiracy theories, and a nice hefty load of paranoia. But I don't feel sorry for her as she is just continuing to dig the hole she's stuck in, blissfully ignorant. That and I don't think I would appreciate being called a "brownshirt" either. I do feel a bit sorry for her family, but they could believe what she does so then again, I don't. It was a good effort and a good article though.

Congrats!

The father was a hack politician and the mother was a hack filmmaker. I hope the child does better than both loser parents combined.

With Gawker on this one

Don't believe she wrote it. There's no rambling and her blatant point of view against intelligence makes her one of the last people on Earth who would know how to correctly use footnotes. Definitely a hired help who wrote this. I'm glad Alex reads this for Salon readers because I'm not wasting my facebook time reading that c**t's entries.
