What goes around comes around

Thank you for the article, Glenn! I enjoyed reading this article before all of those so-called "Tea Parties" tomorrow on tax day. Frankly, you are right. When the right attacked everyone who supported the elements of surveillance government (patriot act, etc), it was during the 8 years when Bush and them were in power. Now that the tables have turned, it's not exactly fun being the ones targeted. They are definitely reaping in a creation that they themselves created. In my opinion, I just don't understand the hysteria that wingnuts have either. Geez, you didn't see us on the left going to such extremes as these guys! Oh no! I must buy a gun quickly before they go! (like there is a shortage of guns anyway) It's like the world is ending for them. Calm down, please. We on the left have been through 8 years of this. I think you guys will survive all of the same.

Why yes! There is time for puppies!

I agree. There is time for adults and then there's time for puppies. And I'd much rather look at puppies since the economy is stressing my brains out. I work hard and my brain is wrapped in how to fix this economy. It's the end of day, I need to ease my stress. Goddamnit, that puppy is damn cute!

Original article: Your guide to teabagging

Bah!

Sorry, I'm not teabagging today (At least not with conservative perverts! That belongs in the privacy of my bedroom for crying out loud.). I paid lower taxes this year so I'm not mad. All of these protests are astroturf compared to progressives and other lefties who have been doing these kind of protests and demonstrations for years (70's baby). Sorry conservatives, you guys are so amateur and the horrible name to call these protests are the starting proof of that. Oh and all of these protests were originally created by the Libertarian Party in support of Ron Paul so Republicans didn't even come up with the idea of these protests in the first place. Hah! Amateurs.

Astroturf protesters

Wow. Every single protester sounds so dreadfully stupid. Obama is hardly a dictator like Mussolini (Salo anyone?) and well...this mess got started when the Republicans with their lovely President Scrub was in power. They are just looking for someone to take their own anger out for the misery in their lives. I look forward to all of the teabagging jokes later on. Pitiful people and amateurs in the art of the demonstration. That protest sounds like hell.

Sounds good to me

I take trains pretty often locally in NYC so I have no problems of the idea of taking trains nationwide. It would be so much less hassle than taking planes (not to mention less jetlag) and I bet would be so much cheaper. Not to mention this would bring more jobs and reduce money and energy into individual transportation. Sound good! I hope they start the project soon. Oh and I hope Roxyval enjoy a huge teabag last night like I did with my boyfriend.

Good!

And take 34 reps out of Congress...

...most of them Republican? Beautiful. How soon can you leave?

Yes! Thank you for pointing that out Mike! Can you guys in Texas leave pretty soon then? I was born in Texas, but family moved out because we found good jobs outside of the state. Best decision dad ever made.

Bullies are losers

I remember that high school was bully central. It seemed like everyone wanted to prove how superior they were and they would tease and insult people who looked vulnerable, weaker, or smaller. I was chubby in high school and very shy. But after attending an early college program before graduating, I was excited about life after high school. I was excited about my college prospectives and the world outside. I found new interests and fields of study I liked. I found new talents I never thought I had. I worked hard on my college applications and got into several schools. Things were getting exciting! My confidence went up and my support from family, friends, and professors was (and continues to be) abundant. That support was always there, I just never realized it. Bullies who went after me found nothing to go after. I ignored them. They were a waste of my time and energy when I could be working on cooler things like projects for my AP college classes or the literary magazine that I became a full time staff member in. Bullies are losers to me and their academic career was proof of that. So by graduation day, I had a lot to look forward to in life. They didn't.

It's a shame that children killed themselves because they were being called homosexual insults. I wish they had that confidence I had to overcome insecurities and believe myself to be something better than words from a loser's mouth. I wish they had the knowledge of those words and how they are used to degrade a group of people just trying to find a life and love for themselves. How those words are used to promote hate, ignorance, and bigotry instead of empower. I hope those kids are resting peacefully now. In my experience, bullies from all walks of life, from kids to full grown adults have troubled lives of their own and get nowhere. Karma can be quite a bitch when it activates.

Once again, no self awareness

While telling her story of deciding between to have the baby and abort the baby, the underlining of the message speaks out and clear. She could decide on her own what to do. She had a choice. If she had her way in the rule of law, women wouldn't even consider the idea of abortion. There would be no questions about it because it would be against the law. Thus, there wouldn't even be this story. Once again, lack of self-awareness, subtlety, innuendo, and sophisticated thoughts from Sarah Palin. No wonder her state is fighting tooth and nail against her.
