Jeannette, you read my mind. Republicans have been in power for the last 8 years, getting whatever they want and now we are in a shithole because of it (and assholes who blame Clinton can suck it). Most of the plan is Republican's beloved tax cuts! But Noooooo, that's not enough for them. They probably would have voted for the bill if 100% of it was tax cuts instead of lending money to schools, health care, and the crumpling infrastructure. When millions of people lose power over a common snowstorm, yeah, our infrastructure is pity poor. I'm just about with Rachel Maddow in saying screw the Republicans. However, Obama is a better person than I am and has been trying to hold an open hand to them, but then the Republicans are complaining of him lacking in bipartisan spirit. So while Obama is trying to do something you do exactly what you have been doing that caused all of this...nothing. Keep doing nothing while the economy goes to hell. Screw you Republicans, I'm joining the rest of the people who will be making smores when every one of you go down in your own flaming guilt.
This woman created life for publicity and financial gain.
-- GLohman
Glohman hit the nail on the head for me. There are plenty of women with big families, but you don't see any of them with publicists and wanting 1.2 million dollars for an interview. (The Duggars are just religiously crazy) The only people I feel sorry for are the babies, who have come into this world with a deranged mother on extremely limited resources at a time when we are in economic collapse. There's reason talking, it takes money to raise such a big family and it's going to go into the millions. Most likely, this woman will be using taxpayer money in order for her family to survive and that's when I offer my opinion. I work hard for my money and I don't like the idea of someone so emotionally reckless and ethically questionable using my money to support something to irresponsible. And now she wants to be paid for her advice? Why on Earth would I logically take advice from that? Nadya Suleman is living her own 15 minutes, but unlike Palin she isn't in Politics so we aren't forced to listen to her. Thank God, because she doesn't make any sense anyway. As a young, multicultural, professional woman who doesn't have children, she doesn't represent me and she never will, and she definitely does not embody how I want to be a mother in the future.
Does anyone remember what happened in the 2000 election? I remember when Republicans and their supporters had their slogans of "Sore Losermans" and to pretty much get over it. How they yelled and screamed at one of the Florida Elections offices while pushing their ways through doors. I remember that very well and shook my head at how badly Republicans and Conservatives behaved. Then fast forward 9 years later, I am smiling brightly when Obama became president. Republicans back then made it known very well how much power they had and throughly made it known to everyone who opposed them, was against American herself. They used 9/11 to seal the deal, exploiting a tragedy for political gain. Need I say how many times 9/11 was used at a Republican rally? Of course, 9 years later with two wars and an economy in collapse, it's safe to say that Republicans and their Conservative supporters took the good power they had and corrupted it into oblivion. I don't see too many people, aside maybe Cheney and Rove, and defending the last president and his administration. Now the tables have turned, karma has worked her magic, and the Republicans and conservatives are the minority (Whoa! I never thought I would be able to write that one!) and of course, like a child being taken away their toys, they complain. All of the hype that W. had in 2000 is now reflected on Obama and how many "Obamabots" their are. The only thing is Obama is good for business. He gets ratings, he sells magazines, he draws massive amounts of people out of their homes to go see him. It's no wonder that Obama is a media darling and those who oppose him feel very left out. Then again, maybe they should take their advice and just stick it out like how us Democrats and liberals did back in 2000. We did exactly what Republicans told us to do back then only we worked quietly while they screwed the country over. As the old saying goes, Revenge is a bitch.
No, seriously. Where the spectacle of the wedding that the Palins were buzzing about earlier during election time? You know, the thing to show how good they are at being Christian Conservatives.
I never thought I would agree with Pat Roberson on anything, but I do with that. Snaps to Pat to thinking rationally today.
I honestly didn't get it until it exploded. Honestly, it's a lame cartoon compared to the other ones I saw today. Lame cartoon by a lame artist whose work is eh.
Todd Palin was 6th in the snowmobile race? What a loser! (just like his wife)
