@JackWOrf

You know that yelling at people doesn't really help us understand your message and you're really not telling us anything why we should vote for McCain. Excuse the reporters for ACTUALLY DOING THEIR JOB. Sarah Palin is a public figure and I'm sure she can handle herself. She doesn't need idiots like you defending her. Look at it this way, if you said all of that crap you said on your post at a McCain rally, McCain would probably snatch the mic from you because it made them look bad. Keep it up! Smears and attacks are the reasons why McCain/Palin are losing now to begin with. Child.

The photo doesn't add up.

Violence against anyone is wrong. No one should be attacked as it's against the law (assualt, etc). If this woman was truly attacked, she has my sympathy. However, my Law and Order instincts are acting up. On to this specific case, I have to agree the photo and the claim of what the woman says what happened to her don't match up. I'm not a doctor or nurse, but members of my family are. The first clue that doesn't match and is the most prominent is the eye. I've seen black eyes before and so has my family. Black eyes are usually swollen around the eye and it's very easy to spot. Not even glasses can hide something like that. The skin around her eye doesn't look flawed in shape or texture either. Black eyes look more reddish/purplish in color. Especially after impact, black eyes aren't truly black or even grey. The second clue that doesn't add up is the B. If a person was carving the B into a another persons' face, wouldn't the chances of it being legible to those opposite of the victim be high.? We've seen serial killers do this to their victims in real life and if something is carved, usually everyone can read whatever message they want. It looks like she drew onto her own face from the mirror and as she did it, she made a classic mistake of writing it backward. Skepticism around his woman or any person attacked is instantly going to to feel harsh. But then again, writing on a personal blog that they think lying is great thing to do isn't going to help this young woman either. I don't think this woman understands how much she is going to be thrown into the pit of public opinion.

Original article: Quote of the day

Hi-O!

Aw snap! I laughed out loud for that line. And now both of them are infamous and both are connected to toilets.

Liar, liar

Ok, now the girl definitely doesn't have my sympathy. Congratulations Ashley! You are now famous (actually infamous) for doing something stupid all because you got frustrated that your candidate is losing. Now that her 5 minutes of fame are up, I second the idea that we should remove that ugly picture from the main Salon website. The economy needs our attention much more today (the DOW dropped 400 points before trading started!) than that liar.

Wahhh!

So if we all followed Joe McCain's logic, we should all call 911 on things that make us irritable. Hmmmm...911 is sure going to be busy.

Gabriel has a point

Being a Republican in 2008 not like being a Republican in 2000 or 2004. I'm still working hard to help the Obama campaign as much as I can. I honestly won't feel relaxed until after the election. But I would much rather be in my position than in any Republicans' shoes. It's seems like every week something embarrassing about Palin or some GOP members says something stupid in public. There's no doubt there's bleeding on the red side and GOP member aren't helping any to stop it. I do feel sorry and even pity for them. But then again, after eight years of Republican dominance and the state of the country as it is now; I don't.

@Brian Lupiani

Good point. I hope there won't be another Bush v. Gore-like case. I have those images in my memory from 2000 of Republican supporters trying to get through the doors of the election offices in Florida again. I wonder how those people feel now.

Is this the October Surprise?

Because this just doesn't feel like one to me. Actually the attack on Syria is more of a surprise than this does.

Matt Cohen took the words out of my mouth

F#*k yeah.

Original article: Pat Buchanan yells boo!

This is supposed to be scary?

Those scary predictions look kinda good in my opinion. Saw V is a hell of a lot scarier than Pat Buchanan.

Original article: Palin didn't have to run

Kisses to Thomas Schaller

Thank you for the article! Sarah Palin has no one to blame but herself. She is an adult and is fully capable of logic decisions (except in cases of science and fruit flies). That's why I raise my arms whenever someone supporting her cries our "Sexism!" As if they can blame sexism for anything bad she does. If she is truly feminist then she should know that she will be treated equally just like the rest of the guys in the political arena. That includes going through all of the dirty sludge of bad press. She said she's a pitbull with lipstick, then behave like a pitbull with lipstick not a fucking flower. To be perfectly honest, I think Sarah Palin is happy even if she loses the election. She has the press all over her, she has tons of clothes from expensive designers, her family has plenty of money from their own party, plenty of men who rub their dicks from her image, the prospect of running for president in 2012, and tons of supporters who are sheep for her. If anything bad falls on her at all, I'm sure she has plenty of wool to sleep on. But it sure won't be mine.
