Okay everybody, back to work...

thanks for the lunchtime laugh people. now lets get back to work, shall we! (stop giving this bimbo so much air time on the web, huh) far as the republicans are concerned, it's free publicity.)

What is wrong with Lewis, anyway?

Doesn't he realize that the entire country thinks he is a freak? I don't know what I hate more about this asshole, is it his deluded overinflated self esteem or his botox injected lips. The guy's an idiot and he's the last one to know. what a joke!

Okay, you guys are scaring the sh*t out of me...

Democrats really need to win this general election. I support hillary because she is smarter and more experienced than obama. I think it's just plain selfish and egotistic for obama to continue to seek the top slot on the ballot when it seems clear that he will get smoked in the general election based on the snake moves that the republicans play time after time, including fixing the results of the election like they did in Florida not so long ago. I don't look forward to the "bloodbath" and I'm tired of going to bed on election night with tears of disappointment in my eyes again. I can't take the idea of getting another 8 years of republican insanity. Someone should go knock on obama's door and remind him that he doesn't know enough yet to be president.

thanks hillary, for trying.

Do you people actually think she is that calculating. crying on cue...please. maybe she's crying because she sees us facing another 4 years of republicans in the white house, which will happen if she is not the candidate. if the dem party picks obama he will probably lose in the general election because the south will never elect a black man. we are stuck for another 4 years as hostages to the republicans.

I would say we are in big trouble as a party right now...

why should hillary care, anyway. none of it affects her and her family like it affects the "little people". another 4 or worse 8 years of republicans will affect the most vulnerable of us in this country. the rest can just ride it out. as an x president's wife, she has nothing to worry about. she will never face homelessness or no health care. it's the rest of us that need to worry.

Geez, I'm Scared Folks...

I read the comments of my esteemed fellow readers of Salon and am constantly impressed by their collective intellect.

As for me I'm just a simple dem/liberal from Boston who has been emotionally beaten to a pulp in the last 8 years by the devils in the white house. Cheating the PROCESS like they did in Florida, the war and the thought of all those mothers who have lost their son's for it breaks my heart daily.

We must break free of this...we can't afford to lose this election. Reading this article and most of your comments scares the crap out of me because I see the same old pattern emerging. You folks miss the forest for the trees. You nitpick minor personality issues of the individual candidates and you fail to recognize that our democratic candidates are our only hope of escape from this tyranical republican agenda.

I implore my fellow democrats stop shooting us in the foot. Please please please stop attacking each other and the candidates. Please support the PARTY. Stop helping the republicans by bashing our own...

If you support a democratic agenda stop bashing the individual candidates. Leave it to the votes to decide their roles at the polls. Avoid bad mouthing any of them. Your collective intellect would be of better service working on the democratic platform in preparation for the convention. That, in my opinion, is where we need the most help. In the last two elections our platform was insufficient and left us an easy target.

Any of the top three dems works for me in any order...

victimized...

when i was 23 years old i became pregnant and unmarried. (this was 22 yeares ago). i went to a 'catholic' medical center in my community for a pregnancy test and was informed that it was negative, although they encouraged me to return to the clinic several weeks later. sure enough, once the 12 week period passed that was the rule for abortions here in massachusetts at the time, this same hospital clinic advised me that oops...i really was pregnant after all and awe shucks, nothing i could do about it at this point as the window of time for a legal abortion had passed. i firmly believe that they did this on purpose, taking the decision away from me.

things have just gotten worse since then for women. at that time we had govenment benefits like welfare that assisted me in getting an education and getting off welfare, these days those supports are non-existent. don't know how women will manage.
