I am actually glad the website is cutting off Glenn's column
It spared me having to read his Holiness's righteous scolding of the Obama administration.
But not before it dragged you there to read the first part.
I just hate it when Salon does that to me.
I consider myself a liberal but find that I am very much 180 degrees from both Greenwald and the right; by my understanding of geometry and the circle.. that place Mr Greewald at or very near the right-wing extreme.
Actually, it places you very near the right. At least wrt your grasp on constitutional issues.
Where did you stand when Bush was the one pushing a system of show trials and indefinite detention? Were you defending him? Because that's what you're agreeing with now.
I'm not knocking Pedinska; rather, this is a worthwhile teaching point to make here. The fact that we have a Warren Terra that isn't a formally declared war doesn't preclude IHL.
It wasn't me. It was ondelette.
I wish I had a tenth of his understanding of such issues.
I'm more of a 'witty repartee' commenter and I try reallyreally hard to stay out of riled waters that are way over my head. My job in those conversations is to make like a sponge and soak it up. ;-}
It' pointless
to let these right wing nuts get you all riled up. The far right has always hated and spoken unkindly about the ACLU for as long I as can remember. It's which is rather an indication the right hates our constitution. Although I don't always agree with the Without the ACLU we might have been a dictatorship long ago without them.
Leave her in peace, to nap off the tryptophan.
You are beating a dead horse.
You could say that...
...but it's not like he hasn't had plenty of lubricant to help him out. :-}
Verah nihzzzzzzz. ;-}
That's why we changed the paradigm.

The paradigm changed because Bush et. al. needed proof that Iraq was worthy of being the first target of "Preventive War" (a concept shat out of that rectal segment more commonly referred to as PNAC).
These prisoners were tortured in an attempt to prove a connection, between Iraq and al Qaeda, that didn't exist.
And maybe because Cheney gets his woodies thinking about men who "take the gloves off".
The earliest (and only) mention that I found of his work as an economist was from about five years ago, when he was working at NERA (an economic consulting outfit) as an economist for hire, on a contract for the National Thoroughbred Racing Association
No offense to equestrians, but it seems to be a common Republican affliction to draw on equine organizations for their experts on terrorism and other assorted disasters, whether it be for analysis or response:
Before joining the DHS/FEMA, Brown was the Judges and Stewards Commissioner for the International Arabian Horse Association, (IAHA), from 1989-2001. After numerous lawsuits were filed against the organization over disciplinary actions that Brown took against members violating the Association's code of ethics,[4] Brown resigned and negotiated a buy-out of his contract.
That would be "Heckuva-job Brownie", Bush's Undersecretary of Emergency Preparedness and Response in the Department of Homeland Security.
@Bob
Do you also have a comedy show on basic cable we can all tune in to?
It's called "Get 'er dim!"
Our verbal IQ is 127 - are you really that surprised we are big in media, law and the modern world?
...that's an average.
I'm guessing you're on the low side.
Keep up the good work and keep on waving those tangenitals.
Feel free to leave when you get tired of being envious.

The Fort Carson Murder Spree
Soldiers returning from Iraq have been charged in at least 11 murders at America's third-largest Army base. Did the military's own negligence contribute to the slayings?L. CHRISTOPHER SMITHPosted Nov 06, 2009 9:58 AM

They are broken. Many beyond repair. And the people who have done this "support the troops" like their imaginary jockstraps support their imaginary 'nads.
I was wondering the same.
Kristofferson must have undergone a gradual change to lizardhood (as so many of us do). He was pretty hot when he was younger.
I can see him leaning against the doorframe, ARms crossed across his hirsute chest, with nothing but a gift-wrapped box on saying,
"Come to Poppa Baby. Check out my boom-in-a-box!"
IO!
Aside to Myrna - stay away from Dorkna. He's an anti-ziocaine addict who'll give you much worse infestations than Zoltum and Adnomo combined. ;-}
You may be right and you may be wrong (I don't know yet), but you are without a doubt the most pompous blowhard to pollute these pages since I began reading circa 2004.
Winnie's going to be upset with you for giving his title away.
I dunno. I thought this was pretty funny:
At the heart of his theories lies the idea that the world is ruled by a secret group of reptilian humanoids called the Babylonian Brotherhood, and that many prominent figures are reptilian, including George W. Bush, Queen Elizabeth II, Kris Kristofferson, and Boxcar Willie.[6]
At most bowl games, Buckeye fans can be seen drinking liquid Drain-o.
Whilst rending their ultra-conservative Tressel vests. ;-}
I enjoyed that one year that we drank these:
